I'm glad I stuck with it while I would be one of the readers that was not liking Edward at all.  I'm not used to feeling that way since I truly love Edward.  Needless to say this version of Edward has been difficult for me at times, but this is a very unique AU you've created and I can't wait to see how things turn out. 

Whew! Sometimes, I think they really are trying to kill the poor girl. I mean, how much can her poor heart take? Can't wait for an explanation on these dreams.

What an awesome chapter, I loved it!  Starting to understand your story, truely amazing!   Complicated, but amazing!  Please keep writing.

I can't remember if I've reviewed this story before or not, but I almost abandoned it several chapters ago.  I was so pissed off at Edward that I didn't know if I could tolerate him enough to keep going.  His apparent self-centeredness was so off-putting, and the way that he just kept taking from Bella was so maddening.  The mystery of this story and the way things are never fully explained kept me hooked just enough to keep going.

Well, I have to say that I've decided that I'm in it until the end.  It only took me 24 chapters to reach that conclusion!  That actually is the mark of a very good writer.  You made me very uncomfortable yet I could not stop reading.

This chapter was amazing.  It was such a nail-biter!  I love your descriptions of the Volturi guard, and the way that Bella warred with herself not to offer her neck to Aro was brilliant.  I've never seen Jane and Alec portrayed the way you did here and it was amazing.  Really, the whole thing.

I am holding out hope that Edward will begin to treat Bella with respect and that their relationship will balance out, but in the meantime I am loving how the plot is playing out.  I'm sure that scenario was the last thing Aro anticipated!  Looking forward to where this goes next...

Edward is a HUGE asshole. He can shove his paltry apologies up his butt. He may not drink blood any more, but he's still the perpy loser who bit her. He should LEAVE the area. Carlisle better have a talk with him, once Alice reads his mind and sees that the perv felt her up while she was SLEEPING! Nice sexual assault, asshole.  And the fact that she may feel drawn to you doesn't mean she might not consider you a piece of vampire CRAP!  He doesn't deserve to be happy - he's NOTHING. grrrrrrr!

HAHAHA! If she's dying, I hope she takes his ass down with her!

So, is she half vamp? Quasi-vamp? kinda sorta? What's with the slow developing of the vampy characteristics, like grace and smell?  mmm...maybe the venom in her blood had to age like a fine wine!

Those woods sound creepy as hell, especially with a vampire pedophile running amok in them! eek!

I think this chapter was one of your best! First of all, I loved the length! I felt I could really get into it & there was so much going on. Loved the interaction with the Volturi. I know we have not seen the last of them yet as they are not willing to let the Cullen's go. Also, is Edward bitter towards Carlisle? I wondered at his comment regarding the bracelet that was made for Bella "offically" adopting her. And I love how FINALLY Edward showed his vulnerability & his feelings for Bella when he thought she was dying. I say, Bring on the Lemons! Really, really great chapter! I'll be looking forward to your next post!
