Well, this has been quite the ride for me.  I started our confused by the story, then I really didn't care for it, then I was curious, and finally, I'm hooked.  What horrible timing, just where there are no more updates!  This chapter had so many tasty bits to it.  I found it so interesting that Bella would dream of Elizabeth.  Perhaps she is dreaming the dreams Edward cannot?  I thought the shackle reference brought a little levity to the chapter.  Your descriptions of Jane's power and how Bella feels it I thought were examples of your ebst writing yet.  These were such powerful images.  I was also taken by B &E's ability to harness each other's powers through their blood bond and by Aro's actual calling to Bella's mind.  I was hoping for a little lemon juice before the stand off with the Volturi, but the hand kissing sated some of my need for long-awaited affection between the two of them.

Yes, the dreams are their way of remembering his memories and Bella have them since her mind is more receptive (he can't sleep unless she makes him). I thought it would be interesting if he remembered his Elizabeth and let Bella see her. Thank you for liking Jane's power! My best writing yet. LOL. Thank you.

Thanks you for reviewing. I'm a failure at responding to reviews but I've been meaning to tell everyone that each one makes a lot to me.

I am starting to like the story more, but I have to completely remove it from SM's world, even more than just an AU.  On its own merits, it is compelling, I just have to view the characters as only sharing the same names and places as the SM world and none of the traits.

I particularly liked the following passage: "It is too bright to be midnight, he mused, like the sun itself decided to shine at the most ungodly hour. He suddenly couldn't remember why he didn't appreciate it as much as he appreciated twilight."  

I was glad to see some growth between E&B as she reached out for them.  Hopefully there will be some true bonding in the chapters ahead.

So a lot happened in this chapter--a lot.  We found out that vamps have blood and it can be transferred.  Bella was able to inflict damage on Edward.  He can share his thoughts with her through their blood bond.  Bella is the goddaughter of a wolf.  Shesh.  That's a lot to absorb.  At least I can't say the story's moving slowly.

I am loving all of this vampire-only frequency business.  This is crazy!  I can't wait to find out what connection E & B have that would make him so weak.

I know he has his reasons for wanting to be separate from the Cullens, but this line by Alice sorta broke my heart "Promise me, at least, that you'll try to stay with us even for just a while. That you won’t go running away at the first chance you get or as soon as you have an excuse." She sighed resignedly."

Love it! This is like no other fanfiction I've ever read, all the charicters act so perfect and I love that you've changed their world so much. Besides I love Drark-ward. More soon please.
