I like it - a lot. I feel like I don't completely understand enough about Bella being so anti-love and Edward being to determined with her. Though him saving her recently kinda got into his psyche a bit more. I mean, I know both of them were all spelled out in the beginning - but I think that since then the actions of the characters have been a little repetitive in living up to their respective beliefs. Does that even make sense? Sorry if it's confusing - I don't know if I can articulate what it is I'm trying to say. I am enjoying reading, regardless of anything else, so I will continue to look forward to the next installment! :)

In the Twilight series, I found Jacob really annoying, but in this story, with this Bella, I like the friends with benefits thing between them. Plus, it cracks me up that Bella might be getting some on the side, while Edward is trying so hard to get her in the sack!
Author's Response: Ha ha ha! Jacob was annoying in the series but I never saw him as the villan as most people did. I kind of felt sorry for him. Bella kind of leading him on and then forgetting all about him. He deserved to get a little love. And if Bella was a bit sluty in the books, she totally would have done the friends with benefits thing with him! And poor Edward not getting the girl he wants when he wants her. I agree, this is my favorite chapter so far. Go, Bella! I laughed my ass of at the Jacob line....."he's always good for it"! I can't tell you how much I love this Bella. She may have some issues, but at least she's not coming off as a shy little girl who's a total clutz with no self-esteem, as she's written in so many fanfics.

Author's Response: Sorry about that. Hopefully the next chapter makes up for it! I'm working on the next update but it proving to be a slow process. A bit of writers block, on top of getting ready to move, followed by a car accident (no one was hurt, thankfully). So I'm sorry if it takes awhile but I promise it is coming! Thanks for the review!

Hi! I'm fairly new to the world of fan fic. I must admit I came across the term "lurker" recently and froze. After a few moments, I resigned to the fact that, yes, I am a lurker. Still, as uncomfortable as that term was, I didn't consider reviewing, until I saw this story updated today and heard a squeal. Once I looked around the room for what I expected to be an Alice like intruder, I realized (que blush) that it was in fact me. Anyways, enough about me. I love this story... but your Bella is a bitch, and a whore, and is hypocritical. At least Edward knows he is an asshat. Your Bella thinks she is the good guy, that makes her 100x worse. The way she treats Jacob... and the way she acts like she is so much better than Edward, even when she acts exactly like him (always thinking she is better than people, always thinking she is right, always thinking about sex, always manipulating people to get sex just so she can scratch her itch, always cutting people down in self preservation, always putting herself first, always fighting to get what she wants regardless how it affects others)... and they way she is a bitch even when Edward is being genuine. There is nothing admirable about her. She has sex with a boy that she knows is in love with her, she pukes in Edward's room and doesn't clean it up, she laughs at him for standing in her vomit when he goes out of his way to come pick them up, she is mean to him after he saves her life... the list can go on and on. She kinda makes me ashamed to be a woman lol. She is the epitomy of sexism. She thinks she can be heartless, and cruel, and cold, and have lots of sex just for sex, and treat people poorly to get her way... and all it means is that she is an assertive independant woman - something positive. But when a man, Edward, does all those same things... it is always something negative and wrong.
I hope she mellows out. There are too many stories where Bella gets away with all this shit and Edward is the only one held responisible for his actions and has to "change his ways". But regarless, this is a really great story. Just because I don't like your Bella... I still like your writing. Its hillarious and well put together.
They should have thought through the bet a little better though. It would be impossible to make someone fall for you if they avoid you all of the time, and ignore you when you are together. And it isn't right for one person to have to name their prize upfront and not the other. If Bella doesn't have to name her stipulations for winning until the end, Edward should be able to change his now or name his later aswell. And if Edward hadn't made his prize sex with Bella, he could be doing her right now. Edward may be stupid, but he isn't THAT stupid. I don't know how he let Bella get away with all that.
Author's Response: I love long reviews! Thank you. I agree that Bella is a bitch in this story. She is very selfish along with many other things. And I know that there are never excuses for a persons behavior but she does have some reasons that she is this way. We will get into those as the story goes on. I don't want to spoil future chapters for you or anything. But do you really think Bella is going to get away with anything for much longer? Edward is very smart and also very good at manipulating. Thank you agin for the detailed review. Hopefully the rest of this story help to explain Bella's behavior and help to change it.
