The story was wonderful.  James was flawed, but he did love Bella.  I could tell James would eventually be destroyed, but I wish Bella would have stayed long enough after meeting with Alice and Emment to see that her relationship with James, while both passionate and friendly, was really the life of a lie. A relationship built on lust and deciet is never as strong as one built on love and trust.  I mean if Bella stayed longer with James, what garrantee does she have that James won't leave her for another, especially if he finds his true mate? What garrantee does James have that Bella won't do the same to him?  I think Bella would have eventually come to those conclusions on her own,  She may not have gone back to Edward right away, but she would at least had a chance to tell James the truth.

I know a lot of readers have blamed the Cullens for not giving Bella a chocie, but James also is equally guilty.  He knew That it was simple missunderstanding, and yet he did nothing.  Bella was manipulated by both sides; one side by careing and one by selfish desires.

I know that this is very long review, but I want to say something more: I hope that you do a follow up! You are a talented writer and I would like to see how Bella's experience with James has made her and Edward's love for each other grow, as well as her relationship with the other Cullens.  

 

That was a wonderful story. I think James was my favorite character. His personality and behavior is exactly how I'd picture it. I honestly felt sorry for him. To live a life without love, is no life at all. The drama and confrontations were perfect. You have a real talent. And, I adored the fact that she mourned James. I figured must authors would just jump back into Edward. I liked the transition. Thank you for this lovely story. It's definately one of my favorites. Good luck on other future ventures!

Great story! I loved your premise. What a great job! You did well protraying James as a flawed character but with the one redeeming feature of loving Bella. I also appreciated the ending in which Bella stayed true to character in mourning James, but ultimately forgiving herself for loving Edward. It was so sweet that Edward accepted her pain and took it into himself for her sake. Well written. Thanks!

i love the way it was bella fault... bella not believing in edward. i hate that he is always the jerk. this was nice. i even liked james in this story. poor thing! great job!
