Well, it sure wasn't hard to read! Poor Bella, can't resist the inevitable magnetism between them. I still love the fact that Edward's motives are purely selfish and need driven-makes for a very dark and forbidden love. Don't keep us waiting!
Author's Response: Yup, my Edward isn't going turn into a sap. The changes might be there, but they are very slow and gradual. I like to keep the real, normal pace for my story, not the straight up professing the love thingy.
He's still driven by lust, and that's why he's ready to change his lifestyle a wee bit.

Oh, I loved the kiss and it was totally worth being cock-blocked last chapter and then at the beginning of this chapter again. Great job!
Also, I wanted to commend you on the improvement of your writing. I can definitely see the difference between the beginning chapter and now. You have really bridged the gap between modern speak and that of their earlier time period. Also, your chapters are flowing much easier and I love the improvements of Bella's character. She is so endearingly innocent and I love that.

Author's Response: haha i guess the cockblocking wasn't much then. I didnt do it intentionally, I wasn't just going to make Bella give in so easily. Yes, she was affected by his lure, but not so much as to let him kiss her on the first attempt only.
She's gonna make him sweat (i know vamps dont sweat, but ya get it) lol
Ah my writing style, I went through a phase of archaic script... then i found that it looked a bit off. I was trying to follow the books of that time, but i guess it didnt work. So i changed it a bit, to suit the flow of dialogue better.
Bella's innocence contrasts with Edward's deviousness, and that is the desired effect, the way i wanted to depict it.

I just found your story and I think I might be a little bit addicted now. I loved the end of this chapter! The ring! Edward going in for a kiss! Yay! I loved Edward's reasoning for the ring too. He is sentimental. I love it!!
