I loved every word of it!

Oh NO!!!! What has he done? WHY??? Is it because Rose got him so angry he doesn't trust himself? GAH!

Oh, ok.  I absolutely adored this fic - it's definitely one of my favorite AUs now.  I love the timeframe you set it in (even if 'kudos' is still bugging the hell outta me  ;P), and I gotta give you your props for that.  Like you said in one of the ANs: committing to a historical fic like this, with all the research involved, takes dedication.  I applaud you for that.

I love Assward, too (I'm sorry, but I keep seeing him as more Assward instead of Darkward; Darkward always seems...well, darker to me).  The more I read, the more I kept thinking: "He is such a dick!"  I love him, though (especially how he's still the fortunate son, even though he is such a ginormous dick) - and I love your Em and Jazz.  Wanting to slap Rosalie, but you do have her amazingly in-character so I can't complain there.  I honeslty love the twists you've given all the characters (mild curiosity, but I'm assuming Mr. Webber isn't a preacher in this alt!world?  Shame on him if he is; way to set an example, Mr. Man Ho) - and Angela!  I love your Angela, and Ben is so adorkable.  Great job on all the characters, hun.

And on the story itself; I love the twist you've given the original Twilight tale, from Edward's rebel years (part of me keeps hoping Bella will envoke some sort of change in him, but at the same time I'm loving Assward so much I don't know how much I want that to happen) to how they came together.  And it was horrible of him, but I love how he tricked her into marrying him.  Wonder how long it's gonna take him to admit he loves her now?  xD  (And I adore that, too; twelve chapters in and he's yet to even assume at that connection - obsession my foot! - and yet it's so blazingly obvious (Ange gets it, the readers get it - now he just has to get it  xD).)

Long in short: I'm loving this fic, and I'm definitely keeping an eye out for updates.  Can't wait to see where you take this, hun.  (And on a non-fic-related note: I'm glad to hear your back's doing better, and I hope your recovery continues to be positive.  Injuries like that can be a major bitch.)

Oh my, such a long review! Gee thanks I'm so flattered, I'm smiling like a goofy clown. :)

As for Kudos, (gosh this word is giving me a hell time now) I checked it before using it, and it had been in use during that time, even before that actually. So there, I didn't slip.

I'm still as dedicated to my research as before. (Even gotten OCD about it. haha)

My Edward is an ass most of the time, so Assward suits him just fine. But he's learning slowly, and Isabella will guide him when she gets a little bold with him. He's not going to scare her all the time, and she's going to get under his skin soon.

He's Dark, but not evil. Dark as in he still wants to eat her, but keeps the tabs. He's not very apologetic about keeping her on tenterhooks(this might be evil, aha), but I guess that dark goes better.

And yeah, I turned Mr. Webber a manhoor in this fic. haha. I did change the Webber family a bit. Angela isn't shy here.

Rosalie's closer to canon. She's bitchy sometimes, but she's not evil. She just wants to protect family secret. (and even Isabella)

And Edward is such an assbackward vamp here, that he won't realize its love until a few more chapters. haha.

My back got good. But I lost my net for many days in a row. Thats why such a late response from me. Gah! Sorry about that.

well I feel really bad for Bella!  I like your story and am thoroughly intrigued...but I wish all the fear would subside.  But wait...fear isn't even the right word!  I wish he could love her and she love him...that would make this so much easier!  Update soon!!!!!!!

 i hope she actually falls in love with him...

ohhh, I was wondering what was next, this seemed so short...ok, well, great chapter.

Another amazing chapter! I am so happy that the wedding finally took place (for some reason I was thinking it might get interupted). Althought I have to admit that I don,t really understand why Edward is so cold with Bella. May be he is just nervous...however he better change his attitude soon because he is scaring our poor Bella.

As always, I cannot wait to read more to see what is going to happen next.

Ohmygoodness! that was the best chapter to date! Im so scared for Isabella. Poor thing. I cant believe he acted that way!! I was expecting him to ravage her or something loool.  Its sad how she feels trapped in this marriage and why is he so bloody mean all the time. He either wants to eat her or push her away.........now where is the balance? I think Edwards needs marriage counseling already. Im willing to provide my services to him...ANYTIME lol please add soon I'm so excited!!

Isabella's feelings about being trapped are the result of Edward not courting her properly. But then he has voiced his own fears about that. she wouldn't have accepted his proposal the conventional way, because she gets the creepy vampire predator vibe from him.

The balance is coming, don't fret. haha

Edward's only being mean because he wants to keep her away from his secret. He doesn't know how to keep it in constantly, and sometimes it bubbles over. But he's learning.

i want to cry for her... why is edward such a jerk! i hope you update soon i dont knwo if i can wait

Wonder how Bella is going to feel when all of the Cullens leave after the wedding?!!
