It's good to get back to the story; it's been a busy few weeks.  I don't like it that Edward is going out with Christy, even if it's not a date.  Somehow, I can predict that this will get back to Bella somehow and blow up in his face.  You are writing Bella correctly; after  her horrific break up with Sam, there's no way Edward can possibly expect her to make a leap like he has.  Edward has spent years avoiding relationships but he was never himself burned.  Bella was burned in a big way and has a lot of issues.  Excellent writing.  I do so enjoy getting to hear Edward's POV.

Great chapter. Glad we got to meet Charlie and Renee. Poor Alice and Jasper, it's so sad that there are parents like theirs out there but unfortunately there are many. Can't wait to read more. Hope Jasper proposes.

Great chapter. I feel like Edward is more committed to the relationship than Bella but I guess that's what happens when you just get out of a bad break up. Hope they don't end up messing things up though by either being too reluctant or too possessive. Can't wait to read more.

How could Sam do that to Bella?! Now I hate him more than before and I agree with you on the whole imprinting thing. I felt so bad for Leah in the actual series. Can't wait to read more.

Great chapter. Poor Bella, can't believe anyone could do that to someone else. No wonder Emmett's pissed at him. E/B are so cute together. Can't wait to read more and meet Carlisle and Esme.

Great chapter. I can't wait for it to warm up down here so I can go to the beach again, I need a tan too and reading this chapter has just reminded me of the nice warm sun. Loved the E/B interaction, they don't seem to be too awkward. Glad Bella's decided to not let things get weird. Hope she takes Alice's advice. Loving the Southern Edward, the accent.... omg. Can't wait to read more.

Ok, I just had to say something here. You were writing all about how any reputable tattoo artist wouldn't tattoo a drunk person. That was my first thought too and I agree that they shouldn't but I also know it happens. What you have written is a very possible senario and I'm so glad for it.
I have a problem with sticking to stories and books because the minute I feel they get the slightest bit unrealistic or illogical I drop them. It's all about believing it for me. So what I want to say is that you made it work and I believed you. Thanks for writing and thanks for sharing :)

I really like how the James thing played. Glad it was Bella and that she didn't kill him. Loved how Edward took care of her, but was also very affected himself.

I knew Alice was preggers! I really liked how it played out on every level. I also liked E&B talk at the end and I'm looking forward to the one that's coming.

 

Is it too late for Bella to accept Bruce's offer?

It would be more believable if he dosed all three drinks, but the other two didn't touch their drinks because he was near them, or Bella wasn't well, or something like that. Anyway, it's interesting that he disappeared. It would be stupid of his to refocus his whole life in ruining Bella. He has a career that could be salvaged. It would make more sense for him to have some story or manipulation waiting to explain his innocence somehow, even if the cops don't buy it.

 

I'm surprised Bella didn't talk to her dad about James and how to get a restraining order. That would seem like the first move.
