ooh, i just got one of those a month or two ago. i went to my friends camp house, and we stayed 8 hours on sunday under the sun without anything to protect. that was sunday; saturday we spent 4 hours under the sun fishing and then hours under the sun tryingg to remove the sort and tank marks. we staed aching for weeks! I LOVED IT. update soon :)

I tried to have sexytimes with a wicked sunburn once. I'm pretty sure I lost a few of the layers of skin I still had left. I whole heartedly feel B and E on the no sex thing. It's no good like that! Fab chapter!

I love how you are bringing canon into this. Bella as a souschef = wonderful.  So many ffs make her a teacher, but this also works.  Can't wait for an update.

Mind? That's one of the best compliments ever. I love working that way because when I try to write a really linear story I get really bogged down. Because people (or I anyway) don't think or talk that way. One thing reminds you of something that happened before which sometimes leads off to a totally unrelated tangent which can circle around and bring you right back where you started. Especially with 1st person narrators, I like to write it like a conversation between the narrator and the reader.

Was that way more than you wanted to know? :)

Edward's bossy-but-always-right mom is making an appearance in the next chapter which I'm hoping to post tomorrow night. Actually a great deal will be revealed that will help with your psychological analysis of Edward and probably Jasper, too, if you're wondering about him at all.

I found it quite comical that they couldn't go for it because of her sunburn. xD

Edward's cure.... uhm... I think I can feel the sunburn all over me too... Could you send him over here? Just to help me out with ...uhm.... my little problem? *gg*(The secret on how I got the sunburn during cloudy and rainy weather for at least the last week will forever stay within me. ^^''')

What actually surprised me was that Bella didn't made him stop (I mean we all know nobody can resist Edward). But somehow I wouldn't have taken her for the one to indirect confess her need first:

     '“This is a terrible idea,” Bella finally said breathlessly.

     “Why? Why is it such a terrible idea?” I started edging up again.

     “Because you live 2,415 miles away from me,” she sighed.'

I thought he would have to convince her a little more... but hey, who am I to complain... the lemon was wonderful and a little funny given the fact that he could barely touch her xD

The chapter was great and you have my eternal love for updating this one so fast!

Now i cant wait to know what happend between bella and sam. Especially since you chose him for a reason.

Why didn't you have him put lotion on her? When I sunburn I use this aloe vera lotion (not gel) and put it on real thick (you can still see the lotion on my skin) and when you can't see the lotion anymore reapply. Edward could have been lotioning her up all night! LOL!

S.T.37 is a kind of lotion, or a slick-type liquid anyway. It goes on cold like a mother ** but it has a pain killer in it that makes it nice for sunburn. Aloe is my second favorite cure--although I haven't burned in a long time. I learn from my mistakes!!
