Well, I think it is possible when one of them has severe sunburn. Tends to take the enjoyment out of all the rubbing and touching! But they didn't go away empty handed after all. :D

I'm working on the next chapter now "Sweet Tea and the Southern Inquisition" all about the lunch at Carlisle and Esme's house. There will be a few unexpected guests, too. Plus, it's Edward's POV so we'll get his take on the events of last chapter. He's very proud of himself at the moment, by the way. ;P

I really have to keep my job, but I won't let it prevent me from updating at least once a week. I have my priorities straight!

I like the pace you're setting for the relationship w/Edward/Bella.  I hate it when fics have them fall in love right away and then just screw like mad.  It's not very believable and it turns me off.  You've got some really awesome sexual tension going, and what's happened thus far has been hot.  But I like chapters like this too where you take a break from the sex stuff and let the characters develop.  Can't wait to see where you take it all.

That's so great to hear--I sometimes feel the pressure for lemons on top of lemons, but it isn't realistic, especially when the characters are adults with some sense and experience. And the build-up makes the lemons so much sweeter.

These two have some serious obstacles to any kind of ongoing relationship, but the chemistry is certainly there. And just so you know--I do know where this is headed. I try not to start stories until I know at least generally where they end. This one I know pretty specifically all the way through!

Thanks--I worked in restaurants, dining room and kitchen, for a long time, but never as a cook. Glad the lingo is ringing true--that was a real recipe I've made a number of times.

I was home with my brand-new baby watching the Today Show one morning when I heard my long-ago boyfriend's name announced and I thought, "Noooo! It couldn't be!" But damned if it wasn't. He looks good, too. :D

Hahaha, what an awesome ending. Definitely the best way to both end the chapter, and to get Bella's cheek burning!

I missed the update for the last chapter!  Gah!  Ok, first of all Edward was really sweet to take care of Bella like that.  And the lemon was delish.  *grin*  I'm glad that Emmett decided not to kill Edward and bury him in the backyard, because that's just awkward when you're a houseguest.  The breakfast made me positively drool, seriously, that sounded SOOOOO good.  I hope Edward starts setting up some interviews in Seattle soon, because seriously the guy's gotta go.
