Oh snap! I can't believe that Sam had the balls to even approach Bella, let alone say those things to her! Who the hell does he think he is? I just don't get it, he cheats on her, leaves her for another woman, and yet he won't leave her alone. He wants to have his cake and eat it too, apparently. Edward should have done more than punch him in the face. And Emmett should have killed him a long time ago. I can only imagine what MY big brother would do to a guy who hurt me like that. I hope Bella opens up to Edward and tell him the whole story. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Glad we finally met Sam- even though he's a prick. Even happier that Edward clocked him! Our girl Bella's got a real Southern Gentleman looking out for her.

Exciting to see these two change before one another! Bella taking time off to be with Edward - great move! Emmett getting Edward an interview is pretty much showing him he is ok with him being around and even likes the idea - yay! I do love when Edward has a chance to puff up and be all protective it is too sexy! I hope Bella thinks so too! I'm not too sure with the cliffy.

Great chapter. I've got to say I laughed so hard about Jasper in the restaurant. I'm from TN and went to school in the Northeast. It didn't take me long to quit asking for a "Coke" when I really wanted a "Diet Coke" - because no one ever asked what kind of Coke I wanted! You just validated my Southern heritage. Thank you! I can't believe that Bella will be too happy about Edward hitting Sam, even if it did get him to go away.
I also worry that since she's learning to let go of work and that personalitly, and Edward is going to work for a company where that will be expected of him that there will be lots of conflict... especially if she starts to worry that he's cheating on her.
Can't wait to see what's next!

Oh I love Emmett!!! For getting Edward the job interview! I knew he would end up in Seattle. And good for Edward beating up Sam.
"Swate tay plays"... LOL, too funny. I have never heard of the term Coke covering all colas (but then I'm from the Midwest.) My friends in other states and I have had the discussion of what we call Soda Pop--a couple of us in the Midwest tend to call it "Pop" but most of the rest of the country uses the term "soda."
