i knew it couldn't all be that easy lol. thanks for not killing anyone off, and getting a lot of the angst out of the way in a surfing accident. of all the places you can get hurt, out on the ocean is far preferable to a car wreck or something :)

I have a sinking feeling that I know what James is going to do, and I already hate you for it... at the same time I think I know what you might do to fix it. Maybe. Either way I loved the chapter ;)

Still waiting for James to do something really wicked and most likely back stabbing. He's been on such "good" behavior it makes me leary. Very sweet tableau at the end.
Highly satisfying chapter! So good it IS extremely hard to be patient for more! At least I rest assured that the next installment will be worth the wait!
Now that I'm writing my own fic I have definitely gotten a greater appreciation for the delightful power of the cliffie (and it really IS genereally that the natural break occurs there!). I'm trying to prepare myself for the the karmic backlash once I post and start hearing about how much I suck! lol :D

Great chapter, a little bumpy, but I'm glad everything turned out okay. I have a feeling that James isn't going to say anything about Bella leaving and try to take her place. Bella will either be denoted or fired. I guess I will have to wait and see!

Did I miss something? You said that Bella told him she loved him, but I don't remember reading that part. When did she actually say it? Their conversation seemed to skip around a bit, but I don't think you actually had her say the words.

Oh my gosh! poor edward and jasper. i can't stand it. please please please take pity on us and let us know what happened soon.
I really enjoy this story and have succumbed to the beauty that is a southern edward. I was actually rooting for bella to move to HHI cause really, if you had a choice between seattle and hilton head, who would choose seattle?

Oh wow, the first part of the chapter was totally awesome with Edward getting the job and Bella buying a house.
Poor Alice and Jasper, I'm so glad that he's at least breathing on his own. I hope he's not going to have too many complications.

I had tears running down my face. I knew you couldn't kill poor Jasper! But a selfish part of me is also glad it wasn't Edward who was badly injured. If Bella has to take a nap, I volunteer my services to nurse him back to health!
I don't trust James~~I think he's up to no good *gives him the stinkeye*
