LOL *tears in eyes* You just wrote my very first encounter with a southern tourist when I was a server in college. I had no idea that sweet tea was different than brewed tea and no idea that there were different kinds of Coke. Thank goodness I worked in a restaurant that served Pepsi, so at least asked if Pepsi was okay instead of Coke. It gave my southern family a chance to get the SODA of their choosing.
Love this story, as a transplanted YankeeI find so much humor in it!

LOL. Had to laugh at the whole dinner/supper debacle. I remember my first visit with family in the south and having that same confused reaction. It still makes me smile when friends tell me to come grab some dinner at 1 o'clock in the afternoon!
Also, HAD TO listen to Buddy Jewell's Sweet Southern Comfort with this chapter, too good not to.
