I really like this Bella.  At last she is openly declaring her love and devotion to Edward by putting his wishes and dreams before her own.  Bella has finally grown up and is beginning  to see herself as Edward's equal.

Thank God for Rose.  Now is the time for Bella to be strong for Edward.

I loved the whole story! It was AMAZING! I love how you added so much depth to it. You revealed their problems and worked through them. I really have to say, I LOVE you for showing those, who did not realise how SELFISH Bella was being. She always said things like "I would die for you", "There's nobody BUT you" or "Take my soul I don't want it without you". And for her to just kiss Jacob like that all for hormones? Under the guise of "saving Jacob's life"? (yea add extra air quotes to that)

She was just so selfish when all Edward was trying to do is show her the amount of love he has for her. How much he cared for her. He loves her so much even after Bella's ultimate betrayal he STAYS with her because she tells him to.

The way how you allowed him to just, to just break down, and reveal to her, to his family how much he was struggling. You allowed him to strip away that arrogant self possessed facade and allowed his vulnerable side to shine through..

Loved it! I hope you write another story just as good as this one! You are an awesome writer!!!

I love all the epiphanies revealed in this story. I've read this story for the second time and will probaly read it many times again.  It's a classic that will withstand time.

I loved the proposal!  It was so Bella, or at least new and improved Bella.  This is my third time reading this story and I like it just as much as the first time I read it.  I actually prefer this to the ending of Eclipse.  I always thought Edward was too easy on Bella in the tent  after she kissed Jacob.  Well Done.

i love edward ACTUALLY standing up for bella. Rather than all the talk in the books. Step up. Can he break jacobs jaw next when he shows up one more time? please?

You are doing a fabulous job with Edwards point of view (I know it can be really intimidating to write from his POV since there are so many layers to his personality and character.)  When I first started writing his point of view I was pretty terrified actually, but I think it's a healthy fear in one way because then we are more careful about getting it right.

 

You know... I'd never thought before about what a jerk Bella was being in Eclipse.  I mean, she did annoy me, but I never started thinking about her issues until reading this.  There was another fanfic that I read that was set after Breaking Dawn and dealt with the possible consequences of how they'd always keep things from each other, and after reading that, I realized just how many issues they had that they'd never worked through.  Edward does have some problems, but his problem is more that he will give her too much and love her too well if that makes sense, but Bella on the other hand was always about how much she loved him and yet she was a total brat!  It was pretty one sided, but I never paid enough attention to her (when I first read the books) to figure her out.  I'd always just been examining Edwards character and admiring how he loved her, but... it should go both ways for their love to be on an equal footing.

And then, about her wanting to be changed before they have sex is really good.  I mean... I didn't think about what it would be like for Edward on their honeymoon to be so afraid when it was his first time as well.  Then the guilt afterwards that ruined it for him in many ways.  (I've only really examined his character in "Midnight Sun" to complete that and it's hard to "get" what he's doing if you don't work through it to discover what's going on with him... at least, I didn't get what was going on with him until I worked through it.)  I mean, wow... Bella was really really selfish!  The original saga always emphesizes how UNselfish she was, but it's so not true!  At every turn she was tempting him and making things harder for him.  She'd "say" she didn't want to temp him (well.. she said that in the meadow), but her actions didn't prove that she cared about him more than herself.

You've done a brilliant job with this!

On a side note, my husband always called me his wife when we were first engaged and even before we were "officially engaged" and he'd ask me to marry him practically every few hours when we were together.  It was really cute and what you wrote reminded me of that.  :]
