Soooo interesting.  I saw this rec'd on the AU forum.  I'm a sucker for Dark AU Stories, and it looks like I'm going to be hooked on yours. 

I love the idea that Alice & Bella would be BFF in an AU world even w/o Edward's involvement.  Naturally, I'm totally curious how that came about, but I'm guessing that Alice saw a vision, walked up to Bella and said, "you're my new best friend.  And I'm a vampire," knowing that Bella would be totally cool with that information.   

Can't wait to learn more about Feralward.  <-- that's a new one for me... don't think I've used it before:-)

It's so intriguing.  I keep reading just to find whats in his system.  Its Edward right?  How can a vampire have injuries?  Carlisle needs to hurry up and answer my questions  lol  I cant wait for the next chapter.

I think it's fair to guess at this point that the vamp is Edward.  But hey, maybe it isn't?  No, it is.  Truly, it's an ExB love story someday.

I'm getting spoiled.  I started reading this with 4 chapters already up, and I am hooked!

I feel that this one little review won't do this amazing piece of writing justice but here we go...

If I'm hones this was a complete bolt from the blue for me personally. The stories that I've tended to come across all place Bella in the weak emotional state, her as the broken down one, needing Edward for support, but this is something else entirely.

It is truly refreshing to see something as new and exciting as this within the fandom. A new plotline that I can honsetly say I've never read in anyway before. You are very talented in literary terms as I felt myself transported into that basement, a spectator to the two of them and their struggle, your description is one of the best things about this story it helped me so much to attune myself to your variations of Stephenie's characters, you have made them your own and it works perfectly in creating a story that has really caught my attention.

I think that for a first time writer you are really gifted and I can't wait to see what you come up with in the future.

One thing. I get the feeling that Edward, who is the vampire in the basement I assume? Or is that a really supid, obvious question; has been subjected to some form of experimentation and that is the reason for the state that he has been found in, thus his reaction to the medical examination by Carlisle? Am I right, just a guess though I'm excited to see how it all plays out :D

My heart is broken too!!  I am not very creative, so I have no idea where you are going with this, but I am so excited to find out!!  I'm wondering if he was being kept somewhere that was doing experiments on vampires and he escaped.  I wonder if the wounds are from an abuser or if he was trying to kill himself.  Maybe he hates that he is a vampire....that would be true to Edwards character....and just wanted to die.  I thought there was a connection between her and Edward but maybe Edward is doing his usual "I'm not good for her" routine! 

Can't wait till you post again!  By far my favorite story right now....and I read Twilighted and Fanfiction all the time.  Daily.  I wish I could rate you higher than 10
