I agree, I don't think he's thinking in terms of ANYTHING sexual yet.  It's way too early in the game for that, he's been suffering for a LONG time and is just starting to even find his voice again, be his own person sometime.. I think he's not even thinking on the level of anything physical yet.

 

I read this entire chapter with my eyes WIDE open, lol I was so into it and now my eyes are dried out.  But this was a great chapter... and good lord, the bath.  Don't we all wish??

And he spoke for the first time!  My heart skipped a beat!  I'm completely engrossed in this... love it :)  Thank you!!

I was experimented on by a vampire named Edward. We must find and destroy him.

I am so glad that he is making progress. I practically squeal with excitment everytime he takes a baby step toward recovery and opening up to Bella.

He spoke!!! Aw Bella what are we going to do with her! Seriously he finally talks to her, he asks her to stay with him and she leaves!!!!??? I would so fake an illness that only Carlisle can treat so that I wouldn't leave him after that, or something.

I am also wondering what Alice is hiding from everyone. I bet it has something to do with Edward hurting Bella when he want to feed himself. But I also think that that type of conditioned response will be extremely difficult to break and even if it is broken I think that it will help him resist her blood.

The little nod he gave her practically had me jumping up and down. I knew he understood her and here is the proof, well at least it is proof he understands her now.

I can't wait for the next chapter!!!! Please update again really soon!!! It is the mark of a great story when cliffhangers are not necessary to keep the readers engaged and you have acheived this. I wish I could give this an eleven but the ratings only go up to ten.

That was so good.

So much happened. I am glad they figured out that he could read minds. I love the way Bella treats him, so nurturing and loving. I loved when he grabbed her wrist for the first time... wanting her to stay. When he spoke, it was beautiful and sad... it was perfect.

I am so excited to find out about Edward and what he has been through. What he thinks of Bella... all that she has done and risked to be near him and take care of him.

I just really love this story!!! I am looking forward to the next chapter!!!

Yes, figuring out that he can read minds should work on their side. They can at least maybe keep their thoughts at bay, help him out some :)

I'm totally into this story, it's one of my favorites of my favorites :)  His recovery process is taking excrutiatingly long, but I assume it matches the horrendous life he's had to suffer.  Not something he can just snap back from quickly. Your pace makes me think this will be a veeeeery long story, which makes me  perfectly happy.

I was thinking that an added comfort of his being in Bella's guestroom is that her smell is likely all over everything in there, including the bed!

I was also thinking that of all the people for Edw... I mean ;) this abused vampire to fear, Bella should be the most frightening.  If he can't read her mind (I'm assuming that's the case here), the mystery of her intentions should make him the most uneasy.  I find it hard to believe he would fear Carlisle's thoughts because wouldn't he see his positive motivations, and those of all the Cullen's?  But, I'm willing to suspend that complaint to find out what he's suffered, possibly at the hands of someone he trusted????

I have explanation after explanation for why he allows bella near him cooked up, and they'll come out in due course.

Whether you personally accept then I can't say just yet, but know that there are reasons behind it! :D

As for the rest -- I'm so glad you're liking it! Yes, it's slow and painful, but I think it would cheapen the story if it were to go unnaturally quickly.
