I'm glad Bella's scent calms him instead of making him ravenously hungry (as Carlisle fears) or repulsed (since it IS blood after all). Its exciting that he's finally talking a bit, and I'm dying with curiousity to hear what he thinks about the Cullen's and what's happened to him since his "rescue". Now that he's un-traumatized enough to do some thinking, that is.

When Edward finally spoke, it killed me. If i had been Bella in that moment, there is no way i could have been pried away from him. I'm so happy he's speaking now. It's time for him to heal his insides now.

Also, the bath scene last chapter... lordy... I am going to dream about that now.

man, I am SO curious about this guy! where did he come from?? is he Edward, damn it??? :)  He reminds me of a feral cat I adopted - SOOO afraid of everything....couldn't pet him or kiss him for 2 years!! Eventually he came around...and became my baby doll. :)  Poor kitty....wish he had been immortal. :( (but he had a great, long life. RIP, Smokey!!)

Whew...intense. I started your story today and I SO enjoyed how slow and painful the early chapters were. It really set the tone for what Edward/Bella were going through.

I'm hooked and can't wait for updates. You are quite a talented wordsmith.

The originality of the story line is wonderful. The character development is so right on. I felt Bella's jealousy of Rosalie and the other characters are believable and likable.

I especially enjoy how the relationship is naturally developing without unnecessary speed or angst. You have created a very happy balance for a touching romance that is certainly not without the possibility of drama.

Is the next update going to be up today or is it going up soon? I ask because the last I read you predicted Sunday yesterday.

well, i always thought it was Edward and i was right. One thing im confused about though, is the Volturi. Does Bella know or not know who the voturi are? I thought Alice had described who they were only recently and not completely. Didn't she only say that there was a royal family?
