I'm so happy at the recovery he's making. He didn't even make that much of a fuss when Alice AND Emmett came in. He usually makes twice that fuss with just one.
I love how you had him swallowing at the end, like he was fighting back the venom pooling in his mouth from her deliciousness. Teehee.

This story has absolutely taken off like a rocket. I adore you for your dedication to this! You've turned this so cliched, and I like the slow progression of their relationship growing. I think what I like most in this story is the subtlety of Edward's relationship with Bella. Their love, though still budding, isn't simply "I love you's" and lots of dry humping, with a dose of drama, and then a reconciliation. It's all subtletys like him shifting, a grasp, eye contact, a few words, the tenderness of his rubbing the spine of the book. Each gesture means so much and itsn't gratitious at all. It was fantastic!

This chapter was so good. I can't actually pick just one thing that I liked about it. The chapter as a whole was just awesome. I'm so glad Edward has some information about his past, but it's heartbreaking that he can't remember any of it.
So, it seems like Bella was saved before James could bite her, right? Then the Cullens revealed themselves only out of necessity in order to save her?
Can't wait for more!

Yes, you have it correct. James was going to bite her, the cullens came in fast enough but it was too late to keep it a secret.

I love it that all he wants to do is hug her. He's like a 90 yr old baby, in so many ways. So cute, so vulnerable!

as always i love this story. i love edward's character in this. how soft snd unsure he is, even though i don't like what made him that way. i also love how you are developing the relationship between edward and bella while he continues to heal. their relationship has a very innocent quality to it that is irresistable. great story.

Another wonderful chapter, nice and long! Just the way we like it! :D I love how you are taking the time to let Edward and Bella develop a real relationship! One part of the chapter I'm wondering about...when he said "You're not like them" is he refering to the human/vampire thing, mind reading thing, or something entirely different? Guess I'll have to keep reading. I'd love to see some of this from Edward's POV, but I'm sure that will give away some of the suspense. Keep up the wonderful work!!!!
Author's Response: There's definitely some ambiguity there :) Edward tends to say this random stuff that doesn't exactly make sense, eh?
He could also be referring to evil vs good, love vs friendship, etc.
She just picks vamp/human and runs with it :)

Haha doesn't everyone miss a shirtless Edward. Though, if Alice is dressing him I'm sure he's just as attractive with clothes on.
I'm really happy with the way Bella is taking the initiative to continue contact. I'm fond of how she's standing up for herself and what she thinks is right for Edward.

Ok, so I'm glad Edward (we have to name him for now) is not wearing Bella's sweats. I swear I kept picturing him in parachute pants! But, I'm sad that Bella is finally sleeping with him and kisses his chest and he's wearing a damn shirt! I think she needs to give him another bath!!! Other than that, did I mention how much I love (am obsessed with) this story? I think you should make up t-shirts!

Ahhhhh another great chapter. With each chapter, this story gets better and better and it's nice to see how the bond between Edward and Bella gets stronger and stronger each chapter. I think it's awesome how he's talking to her more and more and it is obvious how much he trusts her.

Oh Michelle, this chapter was all sorts of win. We find out how Bella learned the Cullens' secret, they find out about how long Edward has been vampy, Jasper and Bella engage in a war of emotions (which is exactly what I'd do to Jasper if he tried his voodoo shit on me!), and even a kiss! Albeit on the hand, but whatever!

I love how the story is progressing. I'm anxious to find out who held him captive for 90 years and how things unfold for him and Bella. I'm glad he has his own clothes, thats been annoying me for a few chapters now. More interaction between Edward and the rest of the Cullens is all I'm really hanging out for now, apart from all those answers to all those things.
Nice touch between Bella and Jasper. Tweaking emotions on purpose to mess with Jasper has never crossed my mind before but now that you mention it it's the most obvious thing in the world to do.
