I just found your story thru a link on the boards.  What a well-written story!  I can't wait to burn thru the rest of the chapters, and I just want to soothe edward!!  Well done!!

Good for Bella for not leaving Edward when he's so upset.  I'm not sure if Edward means that the Volturi are coming and won't stop until they find him or the humans(?) who kept him imprisoned all that time.  I'm really anxious to see what's going on with all of that.

Also, if it is the Volturi coming for Edward, how do they even know about him?  I liked this chapter, but I really hope you update soon.

Well, they've been talking to other vamps around the world, but trying to be careful about it. It's entirely possible that the info just.. leaked. The volturi tend to know a lot ;)

OMG!  I'm so happy he spoke to her, and so sad it was a request she couldn't immediately grant.  I just hope Alice is thrilled.  I don't know what she's dealing with and not talking about, but really, she needs to talk about it.

I'm really happy about this chapter.  I'm sitting here with a grin just like Alice and Bella.  I just desperately want clearer communication between them.  I get that there is some and that she understands him better all the time. When will he speak?  What will he say? What is this crap with Rose?  Is Rose jealous of Bella?  She just needs to knock that s.. off.

ok... I'm hitting the next button.  I can't wait... forget laundry and all the other crap I'm supposed to be doing.

I am so addicted to your story, it's going to hurt when the next button isn't there.

The drug that's in his system is intriguing.  I trust you did your homework and it's your story, so go with it.  I'm left wondering if it's a weapon of sorts used against him or if it was an accidental poisoning, if you will, and his lashings were a punishment for not taking in blood. 

I'm probably way off, so I'll just keep reading.

I feel like she's just on the cusp of getting through to him.  It kills me to feel his desperation and her fighting the helplessness. 

 

Her telling him about her life reminds me a bit of the part in Twilight/MS when he asks her to prattle on about something so he can control his anger.  I don't know if this inspired your writing here, but I enjoy the connection.

I desperately want to read another chapter, but it's 3AM.  I really need to get my butt to bed.  I have two young children who will require my patience tomorrow.  I'll look forward to the next chapter as an incentive.

 

Beautifully done, just as before.  I hate to think of the forced examination.  I don't want to say here what it reminds me of, but it's very similar, at least emotionally.

 

yay for Bella finally figuring out that's she's crazy about edward... wonder how that's going to play out....

LOL... I love your author's note there at the end!  Anywho, what a moving chapter!  Gosh, I feel like I'm falling in love with Edward and Bella all over again!  I think that I may even like this story better than twilight...  We'll just have to wait and see were this journey takes us.  I am so, so loving this fic and the writing is almost flawless.  However, my English teacher used to always say that there is always room for improvement --even though I couldn't tell you where just yet...lol  Please keep up the excellent work as I will be checking for updates regularly!  HAPPY WRITING!!!

Ahhh.. I have no doubt at all that this was a critical chapter, laying way to future conflict, excitement and answers, but I feel like I just saw an episode of LOST.  I have more questions than I started with!!  :-)  I will be obsessively checking for updates now (like I wasn't before! ha!)

Things I loved: "You're perfect."; Bella's first crush telling her she was on the AM frequency (nice tribute to Twilight); how Alice got Bella all gussied up and then conveniently made sure she went to Edward.  Like she didn't see THAT coming :-).  Of course I loved much more than that, but I don't need to rewrite your story.

I feel like I'm knee deep in some weird conspiracy theory.  Is it wrong that I'm trying to make connections between the Volturi's trip to Forks and whatever human entity it was that kidnapped a newborn.  Someone had to change him .. there's an unknown sire out there, and since I like the Volturi painted evil, I'd bet my collection of Twilight Barbies that they have something to do with it.  Ok.. Maybe that's going a little far.  How about a day with my collection of Twilight themed Barbies ;-). 

You've got me roped on this mystery.  I wonder what clues Edward will offer up next! Thanks for your amazingly wonderful story :-).

It's not wrong to call conspiracy theory at all! I love a good conspiracy theory :P He definitely had to be changed somehow, and he's never seen another vamp... cuuuuuuuuurious.

Very different and intriguing. The humans who did this to Edward deserve a slow torturous death. I love Bella's faith and patience with him.  I hope that he regain his lost memories soon.  The Cullens family are wonderful to be there for him like this and I hope that they could protect him but better still I hope that he get strong enough to protect himself.

The memories that are lost are from his human life, which sadly, he'll likely never regain :( But you're right, something will need to happen with his captors :)
