Great chapter. I'm glad the dinner went as well as it could and no major incidents occurred. If Garrett found Bella, does that mean he knows where the Cullens are? Will Edward actually be taken and will they need to use the tracking device? When will they be able to change Bella safely without her dying? Can't wait to read more. Please update soon.

I could feel that we were getting close. I'm not sure how you're gonna end it, but I am loving where we are headed now.
I'm proud of Edward for making it through dinner, but holy damn. Revalation much? Garrett? I really hope he's a good guy...Really, really.
...I have to know......Are we gonna get a lemon out of these guys? The UST is k.i.l.l.i.n.g me.
Author's Response: I am sad to say that the liklihood of a lemon is very very very slim to nonexistent.
If anything, it'd be in an outtake, and even then...
When I started I debated between giving it a T rating or an M rating and went with M due to non-lemony-type content and general darkness.
That being said -- I just don't think I'm the right type of writer to do a lemon. I'm sure it'll be a handicap in the future, but it's a limitation that I've admitted to myself and come to terms with.
Hope the end will still satisfy, lemons left to the imagination :)

Great job with Alice's reaction to the decision. I think it's the only thing that would deter Bella, and I'd wondered if that wouldn't be the case, that she'd just be destroyed as an obstacle by the people after Edward.
VERY curious to learn more about Garrett!
