I can't believe Jane.  She is such a nasty thing,  she makes Victoria and James seem nice in comparison.  Aro was so creepy.

* Hints of Edward having a helper

* Aro getting a chuckle from kissing Esme's hand.  LOVE IT!  Totally made me chuckle.

* Jane's single finger moving waving - and her whole portrayal is just awesomely terrifying

* That Aro has to pull back upon his initial touch of Edward.  Effed up.

* After the major mind dump, "Where is dear Bella?"

* Bella's shift in her opinions of a speeding car

* Delish cliffies... E&B must suck face now!  Push LIMITS!!!

Great chapter.  I don't know why I was expecting to find out more about Edward's captivity from Aro's visit but it makes sense that he wouldn't share all that he saw or be able to make sense of it.

Is your Edward the same age as the Edward in Twilight?  Approx. 90 years as a vampire.  Unimportant really, doesn't affect anything, but I'm still interested to know :)

Jane was more sadistic than in the books, which I think is very accurate given how her character is described.  Also, I think you may have souped Renata's power up a bit more than the books.  A physical shield is cool but in the books her shield affected the mind deflecting oncoming attackers as they forgot what their purpose was.  Not criticising, I don't really care.

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Aro would only get what Edward got, so unless Edward knew their motivations, Aro would not be privy to them either. However, he's got a more sound mind to put together puzzle pieces, and now that he has all the pieces, maybe he can work something out.. :)

Awesome chapter as usual! You had me sitting on needles while Aro and the rest visited them! I was afraid they wouldnt leave without Edward! Thank God they did!!!

What a wonderful chapter.  I'm frankly surprised the visit with the Volturi went as well as it did.  Hopefully now Bella and Edward can get back to the business of being together.  I am more curious now as to who the heck these people were that kept Edward prisoner and OMG I can't believe they treated him that way, what sickos.  Looking forward to the next chapter.

MICHELLE!  Great chapter!  I'm so glad to know Aro believes Edward is stronger than anyone gives him credit for, except maybe Bella.  I'm a bit concerned about that last paragraph.  On the one hand, Edwards is downstairs and outside, a good sign, but how is he going to react to Bella (or anyone) running at him and jumping into his arms?  I guess I'll have to trust Alice (and you) that he will happily catch and hold her to him.

I freakin' LOVE this story.  Per the forum, I'm sorry you were recently outed but so happy that you continue to churn out the most amazing storyline.  You already have my vote for the Bellies.
