I thought it was cute how you made Edward afraid of the storm and Bella comforted him. I really liked that part, it was heartwarming.
I am glad that we got to see a bit about Edward's past through Aro. Poor Edward certainly has been through a lot. I hope he opens up about it soon to Bella, though. It'll help him heal.
Bella running to Edward at the end was a nice touch too, I just hope he isn't too upset and pushes her away.

YES! They should kiss!
Ok, although his interview with Aro was extremely hard, I'm kind of hoping he can draw strength from his surviving it (and the pain from Jane's gift) and draw strength from his growing relationship with his now "father figure" Carlisle. I'm sure everyone in the family is now 100% supportive of Bella becoming a vampire since they don't want her dead, plus she's the perfect mate for Edward. It'll be nice to see their support and hopefully Edward will support that decision too, in a big departure from canon.
Rambling now, just LOVE this story!

Wow. Just wow. I'm once again blown away with your story! Poor Edward, his vampire life has been horrific. It breaks my heart, and I just want to cuddle him. Ugh, I absolutely loathe Jane! She deserves a taste of her own medicine. Have the human torture fanatics capture her and torture her for a few centuries.
I'm curious about Edward's feelings regarding Bella's impending vampiric fate. I know he has spoken with Alice about it, but I still have no clue as to his feelings regarding said fate. I cannot imagine it's something he would want for Bella, especially considering how horrible he must view vampire life. I don't have a good feeling about the whole thing. I know patience, all in good time. But patience is truly over-rated!
Love this story, keep up the good work!

Absolutely wonderful. Bella's poor vampire, he's had a tough time indeed. Things are looking up though, and with limits being tested, and visions solidifying, I sense many interesting events on the horizon. Can't wait for more.

That was a painful chapter! The angst for Bella and Edward, Edward's pain, Jane's sadism, Carlisle's protection and Aro's wickedness. In the end, we get Bella's unknown advance to Edward-how does he take it? Will he bite her to save her from Aro? Great suspense-I want more!

Idk if I like the way you portray all of Carlise's thoughts. I would think him to be a bit more ginuine in feelings. I would think that he would try to have hope towards everyone and the greater good, including Jane.
I do love this story tho! I hope that Bella or Edward might admit their feelings for one another! Kiss would be appreciated!

Author's Response: I think it's impossible for one to think lovely flowery thoughts about every other creature in the world. Jane tortures people. Carlisle knows this. He doesn't goad her or harass her, he leaves her be, but I don't think that even someone as compassionate as Carlisle will have warm fuzzy feelings about Jane. He never vocalized his disgust, it was all internal, and as much as we would like to believe he's perfect in every sense of the word, I don't expect that he would be thinking the best about her.
