You story is great and your words can probably coax emotions out of statues....or granite for that matter, LOL! Much as I love how Bella is so devoted to Edward, I have mixed feelings about her all all or none approach. She's only 18. Sure, she's mature beyond her years and her empathy is astounding but even that might not be enough for a vampire who hasn't lived beyond a cage for 90 years and who has yet to experience life. He's older by years but he's basically a newborn. Could Bella be enough? It's all sweet but heartbreaking at the same time. How can they be embark on being a part of a pair when their own selves isn't even whole to begin with? I don't want Edward to leave her though coz that's just cruel. If Bella is changed, then they'd have the rest of eternity to figure things out.

I've always thought humans were the ones experimenting on Edward. It's but human nature to be scared of the powers that vampires have over humans not to mention that they feed on human blood.  It makes sense that  they'd try to find a way to be able to defeat them. I'm not sure if vampires are involved. I guess it's possible, maybe a vampire who longs to be human again.

Oh no! I have a bad feeling?! The end to this chapter sounds like a horrible cliffhanger, it almost sounds as if he was going to reject her?! My opinion. Anyway, another great chapter! Plz update soon!

My theory.. maybe seeing his past, seeing his torture, through Aro's eyes, seeing it colored with how wrong it was, how disgusted Aro was, how angry he must have been, the shock of it all.. maybe seeing it through him helped him realize he didn't deserve it, he wasn't the bad guy, he was a victim. Certainly he won't be "fixed" but he ws outside waiting for her..

Absolutely they need to kiss.

Maybe seeing into Aro's mind and his reaction and thoughts of Bella will awaken his protective side and he will take her into his cocoon and allow her to get closer to him now.

Can't wait to see where this goes..

 

This was beautiful... it was kind of nice to see Aro portrayed here as something besides the usual two domensional villain... People writing fic in any fandon tend to become slaves to stereotype... good job.

Wow! I liked how you ended it with Bella meeting Edward outside of the house. Was there a particular reason for Jane torturing Edward though?

I would say the number 1 reason is because she's crazy. The surface reason, however, was that Edward took an offensive position against Aro. Jane and Renata were there as a precaution, to protect Aro, and when Edward crouched to attack and growled that single most menacing growl EVER, Jane took the opportunity to shine.

Oh, I love you and your story! So glad that the Volturi visit went off as well as it did. Couldn't expect a perfect hitch-free visit, but no casualties, so it's all good in the hood.

Wow! Great chapter! Seriously! I'm surprised Edward's functioning at all after everything he has endured over the last ninety years. Geez! I loved the revelations! How fitting that Aro would be the one to "discover" them. My heart totally breaks for this Edward. :(

As for Bella kissing Edward, yeah, I totally see it! But the pessimist side of me worries how Edward's going to react. Does that mean he starts thirsting for her blood? Or, it freaks him out? Hmmm...
