Awesome chapter! You really perfectly captured that frightening, painful feeling of telling someone how you feel about them and not knowing if they feel it back. The phrase "heart constricting into nothing" is beautiful.

Perfect!! That was a WONDERFUL reunion!! That will keep a smile on my face all day!!
Edward does indeed seem to understand what love is all about. He commented on undertanding why Bella loved Carlisle (his kindness) and all the Cullens. And he truly seemed to understand the danger for Bella and was trying to give her a choice, because he also seemed to understand that she loved him.
Sigh. OK, now we need to get this girl out of high school .

Never has a first kiss been so maddenly anticipated as this one....and SO worth the wait. Sister, you nailed it!
