I like talkative Edward :) His version of the events going on mentally between he and Jane and Aro gave a very nice new dimension to the version in the previous chapter. You always get the impression, with Aro, that he's fake with Carlisle.
I'm glad Bella didn't fling herself at Edward, and her mental deliberations were pretty accurate, "I totally should...well, maybe not....yeah but why not....stop being greedy...but maybe he wants it..." And then she got what she (clearly Edward too) wanted. I think I like it most because of the line "I need you, too." It's not "love" but it's getting there :)
Oh yeah, and I like how he was feeling Bella out now that he knows how dangerous it's been for her to get so close to him.

Oh my god, you almost killed me with anticipation for that kiss. But it was priceless..loved it. And when he said "I need you too"...oh my god. I squealed like a little girl too. Can't wait for next chapter, and more kisses. I was wondering..are you planning on writing some chapters on EPOV, or maybe outtakes for some chapters...I would kill to know what Edward was thinking when she told him she loved him, or when he thought about kissing her. Thanks for another great chapter. Edward in the rain hugging Bella was very romantic. I am truly impressed how this reunion opened up Edward's character. He actually spoke a lot. I love that you still maintain the rule that when Edward speaks it is not filled with nonsense. Everything said is important. It makes me listen that much harder for hidden meanings and clues. It was so sad that Aro's visit forced Edward to see things that he did not want to remember about his torturous time in captivity. I loved how he opened up to Bella about what he observed about the true intentions of Jane and Aro. I look forward to hearing more about what Edward read from Aro. I also loved that Bella and Edward revisited the Twilight debate about him being too dangerous for Bella to love. Keep up the good work!

OMG!!! That was awesome!! I have so missed this story....RL has been kicking my butt, so I have had a folder of email updates of stories that I need to read...and this one was at the top of my list! So not only did I love this chapter, the kiss was so worth waiting for....I also read that big long beast that was the previous chapter!! Aro still creeps me out, and I wanne beat Jane up, but it was good to get a little more insight into what Edward went through. I hope that since Edward has seen how wonderful the Cullens really are that he will eventually become more at ease around them. I do have to admire Bella's restraint cuz I would have jumped Edward and molested him the second I saw him!!! Oh and hell yeah and thank you for the mind picture of Edward in the rain....yum! So thanks for two kick ass chapters and a new fix of my favorite crack!!!

Oh, this chapter was magic! I was all okay with her not pushing and kissing him, because I got that it could really freak him out. Then, you go and have them kiss! Awesome!
She told him she loved him! Although he didn't say it back exactly, I think him telling her he needs her too is well, just perfect!
