Another fan-freaking-tastic chapter! I'm completely overwhelmed.
Aro's hidden thoughts scare me, actually they terrify me. It's far from over and the Cullens had better be prepared. Yikes! There is so much here! Holy crow! He opened up about the torture he endured at the hands of his captors. There's always so much in your story, food for study, I suppose.
Hmmm, Edward's comments regarding how it might be for the best if he leaves have left a cold stone of worry in the pit of my stomach. I just hope he doesn't decide that in order to protect Bella he must leave. However he does seem to care for Bella, and despite what Bella thinks he does understand love. His comment about knowing why she loves the Cullens proves it.
THE KISS! Absolute perfection! Beautifully written!My heart throbs at the sweet simplicity of the moment! Thank you!

You're right - it IS far from over, but the Volturi aren't supposed to be terribly villainized. Yes, they're creepy, but they're not the bad guys, and as of now, they're on the same side as the Cullens :)
