Yes, I did enjoy this chapter. It was a good one (as they all are!). I like how the pieces to Edward's history are being revealed. Bella's ramblings can get a little tiring, but I know the story is mostly hers. I also like how Edward is really trying to overcome his issues with Blood.

That was a great update!  I loved that Carlisle got Edward to drink something, a little bit at a time, right?  But I do feel pretty bad about Charlie.  It sounds like he'd like to spend more time with Bella, so I hope she gets to do that. 

It would be interesting to get an outtake of Edward's POV, especially of the night that Bella came back from Florida and they kissed.  Just an idea, maybe for when you're done with this story?

I did love the way her mood changed when Charlie walked in and how it feels 'not right' yet.
Edward makes it all seize to matter, though...

Where the **** is my Edward?!

Now that the decision has been made, only the details of her transformation need to be settled.  Will they prepare her?  Will she talk about this with Edward?  And what of this set up?  So many many questions....

Bella got the news that she's going to have to become a vampire, she took it fairly well. I liked how unsure Alice a psychic was about telling Bella. Can't wait to figure out more about the Edward planting mystery and how it will impact the Cullens. Great update!!

Hmm, so someone with dog-tags dropped him off?  But, he had long hair?  That's incongruous with military.  Perhaps just a name badge and not dog-tags then?  He didn't have a mind like the others, so neither human nor vampire?  That opens up the possibility of the wolves.  Except that the comment was about how his mind was different, not his smell.  AND, he was blond, and native-americans are decidedly NOT blond.  ARGH!  How is it you are capable of giving so much information only to confuse me further?  Tricky girl!  Is there another species out there?  Real werewolves?  Half-breed vampires wanting to sire a master race?

I was so proud of Edward, trying to drink from the cup.  It sounded like he might need a sippy cup if his shaking becomes a problem.  I just about cried when he kept pushing himself, especially when he went beyond his limit.  I know he'll keep trying, though.  He wants to conquer this.  I feel he wants to be whole for Bella.

He also knows about Bella's change, and I'm unsure as to his feelings on this.  He must be afraid that he will hurt her also, given his reading of Carlisle's thoughts.  Even if he is adamant that he would never hurt her, it could happen on accident.  If it did, I fear what his reaction would be.

I was happy to see Bella consider the repercussions of the change.  Yes, she can be with the Cullens forever.  Yes, she can be with Edward forever.  But, the worst is, yes, she will have to give up her father, whom she loves.  Perhaps she will feel better about spending time with him?  It was so sad to see his excitement over her being there, only to be disappointed when she wasn't staying. 

Wow, this has become incredibly long!  I just want to add that I absolutely loved it!  You are amazing!

Wow, what a twist! I must admit that this story completely captured my attention. I was mesmerized after reading the first chapter, and read through all 21 chapters in approximately one-and-a-half hours. This is going into my favourites.
