I've been told my so many to read this. Countless times. And so today, I bowed to the pressure and began my journey into THE VAMPIRE IN THE BASEMENT. In one day I managed to read, NON-STOP, all 21 chapters. And I will say this: I am completely and devotedly in love with this.
It is one of the most beautiful fanfics I've ever read. Honestly. Every single word is divine. There is so much for me to comment on specifically that I will opt out on doing that, and instead sing your praises for the glory that is your writing.
Unbelievable. It's all so incredibly wonderful, heart breaking, and emotional that I can only remark on how it is all just so magnificently unbelievable.
BRAVO, my dear. I am yours til the end. Sigh....

I'll be honest I really dont like to read things that arent completed (only because I get so hooked I usually get to the point when updates are required and I dont have the patience to wait LOL)

Okay, I'm only two chapters in, but I've got questions...maybe they'll be answered later in the story...
Since the mystery vampire will clearly turn out to be Edward, how is it that Bella is friends with the Cullens in the first place, and knows and accepts that they are vampires? How would she have found out? From Alice? Just seems strange.
Oh, well...I'll just keep reading...

Oh, I hope they talk it out. I know it will be awkward, but I don't want Edward thinking that Bella doesn't want an eternal future with him, and that she's upset because Alice told her about a future she doesn't want.

Needs to move a little faster but as so not to be over either. I know I am greedy but the story had a great twist since the begining and I like where you have gonewith it. Mixing the lines of the bok and the movie are a great touch thta keeps me reading. I usually dont like anyting not finished but I like this story. Great job

I just love this Edward he's so vulnerable and mysterious, and I even like this Bella - I often find her annoying.

Why is Bella the only one who's thought of feeding him? ha. I understand it, though. The rest of them take a very different perspective, especially since they don't technically need blood to exist. It's a topic much closer to the front of Bella's mind.

Although I'm sure it was super dangerous for her regardless, I think Bella was the best person to go to him. I would think he could tell she was human and had at least a glimmer of hope that he could defeat her if he had to, which might put him a little less on the crazed defensive position he'd been in.
I'm loving this story! Just sad that I found it so far along. I read too fast and like to stay with stories for awhile :)

I actually didn't mind the jumps of POV in this chapter, especially since you're not repeating anything.
I'm curious as to how Bella knows about the Cullens in this story. Maybe it was answered in another review, I'll have to browse them :)

No...I am glad he is geting better. I was dying for him to talk to her. IS the reason he relaxed after he could not hear her thoughts due to her relaxing silence...like in Twilight?
