The only way he could drink enough blood to filter it was if the disease hadn't spread in her body, and I thought it was affecting her brain, because she wasn't lucid? I'm imagining he was successful, however (I'm quite willing to suspend disbelief, it's your story!).

Now, as she's recovering, he's left the island to swim for help? What if she wakes up and he's not there? Won't she feel abandoned? No one came to investigate the crash, apparently (or at least not yet), so I'm assuming they are pretty far from habitation? Or, will investigators come while he's gone, and find her there alone? There's just so many scenarios that could happen!

Sepsis! That makes alot of sense! Though, if her brain is affected, does he really want to save her as a human? Can't wait to see what you have in mind for the next chapter-you're always surprising me and I love it!

Ah, great update, i love that there is so much emotion in Edward, and for once he admits what he wants / needs without fighting and resisting himself for moths (in a terrible way, thank god Bella doesn't have months)!

Now can't wait for the next chapter, will she be changed? or does this do enough to tide them both over until there is a Cullen rescue mission? Will there be a massive storm? will Bella be conscious or to delerious to see Edward "sparkle" when the suns returns?

Love it, especially all the medical terms and jargon! - well done!
