Why does Bella ask Edward to "get along" and "be civil?" Charlie's the bad guy here - Edward didn't do anything.

im going to say this now, before i read more, but i hope that edward will soften to the point where bella is a challege for him. where he actually wants to be with bella. i can just see this all going pear-shaped with his stupidity.

Big awwwws. This is a really great story. I would have liked to have seen Matt refer to Edward as dad or something to really get that Awww effect but this was still super sweet. Love the story :)

I loved the fact that the cashier was "checking her out" according to Edward. Was the cashier really doing it or was she just complimenting her clothes/jewelery? guys seem to connect everything to sex.
