Good chapter. My only problem is that their relationship at this point has no conflict. It makes the story run a little slow.

Ah, I've been waiting so long for a new chapter and you didn't disappoint me! I like it. The bit about the fact that Bella and Jacb are "kind of married" that was interesting.
I'd like a chapter from Jacob' POV. he's so funny this chapter can only be hilarious.

I'm loving this story - I was a wolf girl first time I read the sequence and was gutted that Jake never got his chance... so it's great to read your version.
Edward grew on me the 2nd time I read them, but Jake has something special :)

Omg, I'm quickly falling in love with this story! =) It makes me remember all of the goodness in Jake that I miss from the books. I also loved how you threw in the whole "girlfriend" thing, kind of side swiping Bella with it! Genius...especially when she's obviously warming up to him.

Alright, I read all through in one go. lol
and now my vision is blurred. but i write longish chapters as well, so i'm not the one to complain.
I must tell you though, i usually don't read NM AUs where Bella and Jake get together. It's not that i'm against it. but i cant control my mind from thinking about the pain Edward went through, his reasons for doing what he did. He loved her, but his nature made it hell for him. And to think that Bella did move on (very natural thing to do, i dont deny that) and he still remains stuck in the time warp of eternity.
but my rant has nothing to do with your fic. lol
Your fic gave a lot of background to the Blacks, i'm so glad for that. Then, Jake's humor nearly killed me. very nicely done. You dealt with Bella's dilemma in detail and brought out the pain she felt.
I found this fic through the Review for Review thread on Shameless Plugs forum. :) that was cool.
Author's Response: Funny thing, I got so I couldn't re-vamp anymore, because I was so distressed by Jacob's pain! I finally had to start this story in the hope that I could write it out of my system.
