I liked the wolf ride plus the fact that Bella isn't at all firghtened by Jacob as a wolf.

thank you so much for redeeming Leah! i always hated that SM made her this antagonist, when she was as much a victim of the Sam/Emily circumstance as Bella was when E left. thank you for letting her find a way to try to have a happy life, instead of crawling around in the boys' shadows indefinitely!

okay dear Diamond - I fell like i'm going to quote the entire chapter here, but these are my faves...
"finally learned what arms were really for" just really nice.
"As always, the sheer maleness of him caught at my heart" yes - i know this feeling!
"The dual onslaught of his hard heat churning inside me, and the pressure of his thumb on my knot, pushed me completely out of myself on a shaft of flame." churning, knot, shaft of flame - lovely words, beautiful imagery
"I had read a lot about rapturous simultaneous climaxes, which I agreed certainly had a lot going for them, but I found that I liked, loved, being fully present for Jake's release. Watching his face crumple, seeing the flush rising, hearing his husky groans and grunts, touched something in me that had been deeply hidden, until now. A rush of purely feminine power that left me gasping with its intensity and that gave me an entirely different kind of satisfaction." YES!! so much literary emphasis on the simultaneous, but like the mythic 69 - no thanks! let me enjoy one or the other at a time, fully, joyfully, without distraction! i think a more careful lover should strive for THIS, requiring more skill than the fabled 'come with me NOW'
i give this chapter 20 stars. truly a lovely lemon.
