I love the anguish Edward feels as he struggles to tell Bella the truth. He doesn't want to scare her with his overpowering love or his bloodthrist. He is being a good Edward as he is waiting for her to come around. With Edward having left after reassuring her...it makes me think that Bella will seek him out afterall.

You did a fine job at relaying the struggles Bella has with all that she has to come to grips with in this chapter. We all know she loves him regardless (or has the capacity to at this point, anyway) and that she both needs and wants him to protect her. You describe wonderfully her attempts at balancing those things with the knowledge she now has of his true nature. And I adore the opening paragraphs within which you describe her penchant for putting her fingers to her eyes to hide, and why. Just lovely.

I had this wonderfully insightful review and then the site kicked me out-damn! And now my daily period of lucidity has slipped away! Seriously, I like scary vampires. I can't imagine what Bella will do-will she return to work? Mundane concerns always incite my curiousity! I loved their conversation in the dark-lots of undercurrents there. This is SUCH a good story.

You write much better than SM... seriously. Bella's reaction to Edward being a vampire was exactly how I'd picture it, instead of her being like "yeah, okay, whatever." lol.

I loved how this chapter played out! How he was there and ohhh how they talked and things fell into place.
I really cannot wait until Bella goes to his house = ] Because I know she will... As in, she'd better go to his house. Soon. Like in the morning. Or within the next two mornings. The most. Please, please, please work your magic and make them do something! If not make pretty human-vampire babies, make them hug or something! Kiss! Guh! Anything!
