So I've been reading stories here for a few months now and have never really commented on any, mostly because I'm in my last semester of college and I feel like if I comment on one I should comment on all that I read and I just don't have time for that...basically this is the first comment I've left here and it's because I read this chapter this morning before class and could not stop thinking "WTF Edward!" throughout my entire class today...I figured if a story can keep me thinking about it when I'm in one of my classes that is required for my degree it deserves a comment...the whole premise of this story is so intriguing to me and I can't wait to read how it all plays out :)

WTF indeed!? What is Lauren still doing there?! Gah! LOL So Bella really did get to him before Lauren did right? I was so pissed when Edward took Lauren to the bedroom with him... I really want Bella and Edward to end up together but really, he is such a jackass for that move.
Bella never should have left the room... although I think she had accomplished what she wanted--she got to have Edward, and kept Lauren from getting what she wanted.
God, I love this story... Anyway, I'm glad to see they finally did get together, hope Edward remembers it. And if not, (and he thnks he had sex with Lauren) I hope he feels REALLY shitty when he finds out the truth.

First off Kudos for the Nutella reference, but I am serious. Try it with French Bread or and good crusty bread, no sourdough.
Favorite hangover cure: Greasy bacon, egg and cheese biscuit from the "Downer" (this is the college cafe that we went to on my husband's old campus after a late nighter at 141 Corneilius St. A bunch of guys that weren't a Frat, but acted like it...it was a right of passage at SUNY P-burgh!
Oh yeah, and this is one of my favorite stories...thanks for writing. Lauren is a whore, but you know that Edward thought it was Bella in bed with him...that's a plus. I just hope he didn't do the deed!!!

Well, I reviewed this chapter over at FF.net but I feel compelled to review again here because it makes me feel marginally better to talk about it. Lol, I'm just obsessed.
After reading other folks' reviews, I have to say I'm also afraid that Edward will think he had sex with Lauren - only imagining it was Bella - since he was so drunk and now he's waking up next to that b*tch.
But whatever he thinks happened, I hope he knows how crushed Bella must be to have walked in on that. They were finally getting on track to really good things - good things that now may have been blown out of the water by stinking Lauren. She must have been listening to them from the bathroom (perv!) and she will only use this to cause more trouble now that she knows what's at stake. I always hate Lauren in fics but I REALLY hate your Lauren, lol.
I'm not pissed at Edward for waking up next to Lauren because I think he honestly passed out and had no idea that that skank crawled into bed with him. I AM pissed though, that he let her take him to his bed in the first place. I don't care how drunk he was, he's always letting little things like that slide (I'm thinking of the kiss on the beach) and it's now coming back to haunt him. He should really set that slut straight. Was he pissed that Bella was texting? Did he realize what it implicated, letting Lauren take him?
I hope when Bella leaves the house she forgets her phone and Edward finds it and sees the texts and realizes who she is and then realizes what an IDIOT he was. On top of all that, I hope Alice informs him that not only did he sleep with Bella, but he took her virginity too.
Boy, I'd hate to be Edward right now. What a pickle.

I left this review in the forum but just in case you're not reading the forum, I'm leaving it here too.
As usual your beautiful, sinuous prose and deft plotting make the story. Otherwise it would be girl likes boy, boy gets drunk and fucks girl, girl talks to best friend about lost virginity, girl finds another girl in boys bed and boy is hung over and confused. girl walks out of room...
I love Edward's inner battle and his stupid boy ego and angst over possibly not being first in Bella's mind. I also recognize Bella's quest for experience. Regardless of what happens he will always be her first and she wanted it and will own it, even if it hurts her when she looks back on it. She may love him, but she doesn't seem to expect him to love her and she doesn't seem to have confused sex and love at this point. But then again...
We don't know how Bella feels, we don't know what Edward remembers, we don't know how Alice will react when her twin reacts (or doesn't) and the speculation until the next update will be like wildfire in prairie grass.
It's really interesting to read the forum and the reviews and see how deeply this story digs into the heart and minds of your readers. It's dark and angsty and probably reminds us all of our own high school experience and coming of age for all us old foggies - for the young it's an identifier. I recommended this story to my college roommate b/c she's as hooked on Twilight as I am and she started reading and told me she had to stop. When I asked her why, I expected her to tell me because Edward was so out of cannon that she couldn't bear it. It's happened on a couple of other stories I've recommended. But that wasn't it at all. Well, that was partly it, although I don't agree with her totally about his being OOC in this story. She couldn't read it because it was too much like real life and she has pre-teen daughters and it worried her that this is what they would be facing soon. She couldn't read it because it was too real, too truthful. Which I find ironic because I read it because it's real too, too truthful. The Truth is rarely pure and never simple ~ Oscar Wilde

Hooooly shit! I did not see that one coming but now that I reflect on it, I should have. She must have been in the bathroom? Anyways, until the end which turned me all around, I was going to say that I love how you integrate the songs into the chapters until they become a part of the plotline and would hurt the story to change them. Wow. I am reminded of the fic Learning to Say No. But rolled into one chapter of ultimately horrible mistakes and miscommunication. I dont know where to start.
Okay, obviously Lauren just climbed into bed with him when he was passed out and he had no idea until he woke up. Because thats just so Lauren. This is a shitty situation, and I bet you're gonna make it even worse for us readers (in a good way) by tampering with Edward's drunk memories. But whats really bad is that they might not have used protection, if Bella isnt on birth control. I mean shit she's not even THINKING about it in the morning. PLEASE dont turn this into a preggers fic. I mean, def let them freak out over it, but let them be super lucky. No "Lost Woman Song" for Bella.
"Well, evil just compounds evil, doesn't it?" It was all going so well. The sad thing is that if they had just used a condom and Bella had gone back to sleep in his bed, i would have been happy for her to lose her virginity this way lol. I mean it was written very well... just, pure NEED, no inhibitions.
The pink cum thing would have been embarrassing tho. Thank god it was just Alice who saw that.
