Anyone who can quote Zep's Dazed and Confused versus something overplayed and overcommercialized like Rock and Roll is win in my book. They are at their best when they get bluesy and you have been at your best this whole story.

Great chapter, she finally sang with him, it was perfect. He defended her in the parking lot, I loved you made her hold her own also. Finally some comunication that actually went somewhere! Now maybe, we can heat it up more! LOL

Favorite gushy love song? That's a tough one. Heaven by Bryan Adams (sooo 80's!!!) makes me cry like a baby. I'll Be by Edwin McCain also makes me cry like a baby. Although honestly...I'd have to say my absolute favorite is Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. Is that gushy enough? Maybe it's not, but I think that it perfectly portrays the absolute love he has for someone. *sigh*

I like the Dave Matthews Band's Stolen Away On 55th and 3rd. It isn't really a straight up love song, but it tells a story that really identifies with a lot of people. Love, love lost, finding it again and it being too late.
