i've read a few comic books, but can never remember who's who, so i was proud when i actually sort of knew who kitty pryde and rogue were :D tehehehee

Ah, this Edward is even more perfect than Meyer's Edward. I love LOVE the geekiness that is your Edward.

This chapter was really sweet and perfect. I love that they're both somewhat shy with the start of a relationship. I'm anxious to find out what all happened to Bella and how Edward will react.

Oh, those first two lines are a serious compliment, and I think I love you. I always felt like the only way to improve on Edward would be to make him a geek ;)

That was just amazing. So many of the stories built on a similar premise have one or both of them simply refusing to give things a chance until they can't stand it anymore. But this one *feels* right. They both know what they want...I suppose the tension will be more in how they achieve that. I can't wait for more!

Nice, now they just both need to come clean with one another. Edward about his "Tony Stark"-like past and Bella about the rape.

Also, Bella needs to tell Jasper about her suspicions about Royce and Rosalie. They seriously need to put a stop to that shit right now, though I think it might be a little too late to prevent everything.

I feel like squealing like a tween girl after reading this chapter. I loved their geeky talk, Bella's progress, and Edward's step forward to admitting his feelings first. He put himself out on a scary limb for her. His thoughtful mention of her past was scary, as a reader I was afraid it would ruin their progress, but it was necessary. If they are going to give it a go then eventually he will have to understand the root of her issues.

Please say the date will be in the next chapter. I'm SO excited over their first day. Seriously, its sad how excited this makes me.

The ridiculous smile I got when you said you felt like squealing like a tween is almost embarrassing :) Thank you for that!

Edward took a lot of extremely scary steps in this chapter - he was so afraid that she really would tell him to go away or that she just wouldn't be able to handle it even if she wanted to. But, like you, he realizes that it's necessary, and he cares enough to do it, even though he would almost rather just enjoy more time with her as they are.

Right now, the chapter is outlined as having the date in it. I hope that will continue to be the case :) I never can tell exactly how long Jasper and Bella will talk once they get started though.
