Bella did it! She walked over to him AND let him kiss her head without freezing, like it is now natural for her! I'm all kinds of happy 'cos of that!!  I'm pissed at you for making us wait for the date, but I DO understand the concept of plot development and that the Jasper/Edward conversation needed to happen...I know all things come in good time, and Bella is making such awesome progress that it leaves my tummy full of tingly butterflies. I just love these guys, I truly do. I might even try to make it over to the forum....and then we can talk about the songs we love from Rockband 2 or geek out over our fave MST3K episodes. Rock on, dude, and rock out another chapter soon, i beg of you!!

Oh, I adore this chapter!  It only makes sense that Jasper would feel some jealousy of Edward and vice versa.  Both of them love her and feel overwhelmingly protective of her.  The way you had Jasper think through his feelings was very well done.

So glad you liked it!  Jasper has been dealing with his jealousy for a little while now, but with the amount of time Bella has been spending with Edward, it finally boiled over.  He's experiencing a bit of what Bella felt when Jasper found Alice - that whole, "Where do I belong?" thing combined with the guardian role he's fulfilled for so long.

Sorry for my juvenile irrational response but AAAAAAAAGH.  Okay, loved the chapter, loved the parallels of their jealousy albeit both unfounded but still fantastic.

This is really turning out to be one of my favorite Jaspers.  He's usually so typically flat to me but here, staunchly protective and uber bff it's great and such a nice change

Even Alice being not-so-flaky in regards to only having the one-track shopping mind

I know I sound like a broken record but I'm dying to know what happened to her.  Obviously I'm leaning towards a rape or some traumatic attack but having Jessica involved too in it leads me to think it was a lot of mental anguish too.

A bone throw me a frickin bone!  I'm kidding I can be patient. (Not really)

Aww Nina, my love, I didn't mean to frustrate you.  The date will be told from Bella's POV, so it made the most sense to end here.  The chapter is outlined and partially written, so I'm hoping it won't take too terribly long.

Oh my gosh! That was awesome! I was so built up for it too. I was kindof still stupidly hoping for maybe a small wrestling match like with Edward and Em earlier but hey the tension still got pretty high! I love how Edward snapped! All declaring his affections and stuff! So hot! I am so excited for the date now... and meeting the guys....that's going to be awesome! I hope Bella calls them on their silly boy protectiveness. I hope they don't mess anything up with it.

So Bella and Edward are going to be separate for thanksgiving?? :( Makes me sad if so. Thank you so much for working so diligently on this. I can see the effort you put in it and it pays off. I'll look forward to more teasers and catch you on the forum!

They aren't quite comfortable enough for the all-out fighting yet.  But this was an important step for them either way.

The date is the next chapter...hopefully you'll enjoy it :)  The guys are very soon as well, though Bella's story is in between those two chapters.  And don't worry too much - Bella knows how to handle her boys.

If you notice, Edward mentioned that they would be flying out the day after Thanksgiving...just sayin'
