awww!!! first off, I just have to say how absolutely ADORABLE edward and bella are together!! I get all giddy every time I read about them in :)

I can definitely see where both Edward and Jasper are coming from though. Obviously Edward will be jealous if his girlfriend (I guess you can call her that) is living with another man, and she trusts him completely. I'm surprised he had the guts to just straight up ask Jasper if he was in love with her! But it is understandable. When you're in love, your world kind of focusses on that person, and you can overanalyze every situation. Like the fact that it is obvious that Jasper is not IN love with Bella, because they have been friends for so long and he is dating Alice. I'm glad Edward has heard the truth from Jasper. Now he can hopefully move past his insecurities and put all his energy into helping Bella recover.

That was interesting how Jasper felt jealous though. Even with Alice! It must be very disorienting for him. He has been the only one that Bella has ever trusted and confided in for years, and now suddenly she is a lot more trusting of everyone around her...I guess Jasper just doesnt feel as needed as he did before. However, I hope he will realize quickly that Edward is NEVER going to hurt Bella. In order to make Bella happy, he is going to have to take some risks with Edward, because Bella would be crushed if she realized he didn't trust Edward.

Anyway, great update, can't wait for more!!!

This Edward tends to be blunt with most people...he does censor himself around Bella a bit, but really only in response to his gentlemanly nature.  Edward's insecurities are long-ingrained, so it's going to take him some time.  He's not told anyone he loves them since Tanya...and he still hasn't actually told Bella, though he's let her know how important she is to him.

Disorienting is a great word to describe how Jasper feels right now.  Edward is throwing the one constant in his life in upheaval, and he's confused by how he feels about that.  What you said about Bella being crushed if she realized he didn't trust Edward is exactly what Jasper meant by how easy it would be to turn her away from him.  Really, all he would have to say to make her question everything is that he doesn't trust Edward.  I'm not saying Bella would leave Edward, but it would definitely stall things...

I'm not sure if I've ever reviewed this story before, but since it's one I look forward to updating very much, I'm remiss if I haven't. 

This is excellent.  I think most "Bella's been abused" fics are tedious and annoying but man, not this one!  It's very genuine and her character is so amazingly likeable.  In fact, all of the characters are.  And Edward!  Oh, Edward, you're so cute and sweet and perfect for her.  But one of my favorite parts of this is the friendship between Jasper and Bella.  It's written so well and I believe it.
