I still for the life of me can't figure out why you think this chapter isn't the shiznit.  I loved it so much.  You are too hard on yourself sometimes, but I understand that you want this story to be the best it can be.  Trust me, you are doing an awesome job.  Things are progressing amazingly, although I admit that I am one of the people who scream at Edward and Bella to jump each other already.  I want them to be together, of course, but I don't want the story rushed and the plot hastened to get the hook up.  Therefore, I commend you on sticking to your guns, even though I know you have to get hell from some who want insta-relationship.  I, for one, don't like insta-relationship, so I am grateful that your cooler head prevails and the story proceeds at the pace it should and the characters and plot develop as they should.  If you just slung Edward and Bella together all hokily (is that even a word?) I would be so disappointed.  I know I've said it a thousand times, but I think it bares repeating- plot development is uber importante.  Your plot development is spot on in every way.  Edward and Bella need time to get to know each other and form a basis for a relationship before anything can happen.  I like the ease friendship is affording them when they are around each other.  They let their guard down and then true feelings can shine through.  Now that I sound like some cheesy pop song, I'll stop.  Again, the chapter was excellent.  I am way intrigued about the happenings that will go on, which may or may not make me an un-happy campter.  I have an inkling what may go down, but I am pretty dense so I am probably waaaaay off base. 

Take care.  Churn out that paper.  Don't throw your book down a flaming shithole.  Some points in history were pretty shitty, but some were pretty cool as well.  Summer class will end, eventually.  I learned from one of my favorite tv characters, Haley James-Scott, from one of my favorite tv shows, One Tree Hill, that we study history so we are not doomed to repeat it.  You can slap me later.

I'm glad you like the story. :)  Unfortunately, it is too much to update more than once a week.  Each chapter averages out to about 20 pages, and I don't have them pre-written.  It's not an instantanous thing; writing the chapter, editing, re-editing, re-reediting.  It takes the entire week to do all of that so I can post it on Sundays for you all.  Sorry!

Good for them that their friendship is still progressing smoothly; I love reading about how their interactions bring them closer as well as them learning more about each other.

Also, LOL at Bella's reaction to Carlisle. I have to be honest and say that when I took my little cousin to see the movie Twilight, I had heard of the books but had yet to read them. And sure enough, when that pale-but-fine-piece-of-man-meat walked into the ER scene, unintentionally this came out super loud: "WTF, Peter Facinelli is in this movie?! Ahhhhhh, damn. DILF!" Movie watchers were not amused.

LMAO!  Okay, you need to be my biffle, 'cos I would have made you be if I'd have heard that comment in the theater.  That's pretty much epic.  I bow to you.

I love Edward's surprise but it still feels a bit like a cliffy to me.  :P  I have to know how much Bella ends up drooling over Carlisle and if Edward reveals her nickname for his Dad.  There ought to be some blushing during lunch even if it's Edward.  I think Bella has earned a few embarassing Edward stories from his parents.  :D
