Loved this chapter.  The Kissing scene was perfect.  I am glad Edward did not cut and run. 

That was one passionate kiss!  I loved the sly reminder that these characters are from a vampire series ("she was burning, turning to ash").  Great chapter in an already terrific story.  Can't wait for the next update!

Ah! I got my scene! Yay! And it was perfect. Absolutely everything I was hoping it would be, other than Edward's reaction to it. That was a little less than the ideal reaction, but it was perfectly in character for him. I really didn't like that he reacted that way, but when you think about it, it really wouldn't have made sense for Edward not to react like that.

After the confrontation the only thing I could think of that would have made it better would have been if Rosalie would have walked in with Edward so she could have punched Tanya. So I was really pleased when she jumped on Bella. I was even more pleased when Bella accidently blurted out that she loved Edward and you could see Rose softening towards her. I do kinda of wish we would have seen how Rosalie decided to "take care of it". Perhaps next chapter? or an outtake? Whatever Tanya gets, she'll totally deserve in my opinion. I know she was just jealous, but she kinda just got a little too vicious with it here.

I also really, really, really loved the Bella/Charlie conversation at the beginning of this chapter. It was so awkwardly lovely. And it left me just wanting to squeeze Charlie. Not only was he looking out for Bella, but also trying to protect Edward.....he's so sweet! :D

And I loved when Edward deviated from his routine in looking at the books and spoke to Bella in front of Tanya. It was a wonderful moment. :)

I do have to say Edward's appearance at the end definitely worries me. I hope Bella can help him bounce back from this and that he doesn't try to run from her. Of course, I'm thinking that Rosalie will probably kick his ass now if he does try that, so there's another good thing that came out of this chapter.

Congrats on all the nominations! ODOW totally deserves it! When I first heard about the Indie awards I was thinking that this story would be perfect for them. Thanks for yet another amazing chapter! LOVED IT!

I like that Bella stands up for Edward, but that boy takes things too harshly ;-)
