This is one of the best-written stories I've read, though also sadly one of the most disappointing in terms of romance and behavioral realism.  If Bella and Jacob are dating, they should be getting some action!  Teeagers in that sort of romance don't just casually peck each other every once in a while.  And how a little teen drinking warrants an NC-17 is totally beyond me--NC-17 exists for GRAPHIC sex.  R is for violence or serious 2nd base.  So far, this story is strictly PG-13.

But that's just all the downers--this really is a very well-written story, and I'm quite impressed.

I like your story; it's very good and well-written.  I'm a little torn as I think Bella and Edward belong together, but with everything Bella is feeling, I don't know how they can get past it without some grand gesture, if even then. 

Usually, we only have to deal with one angsty half of the partnership, but with having them both being so broken, it's tough.  But, i think you are on the right track and hopefully you can get it all worked out.

this is the second time im reading your story.. and i can say without hesitation that this chapter is your best. made me cry a little bit...

SO good, I have some fav parts, I will now Scroll back up........ and I like the line about Huntley's smile being that of the devil collecting lost souls, and of course when Bella Asked if Edward had flunked out of med school.  But MY FAV part is the fact that Bella and Alice are friends again, Oh and of course Bella and Edward are working things out.  Love the Pink Suitcase.

DEFINATELY an AFT moment! I loved it, and it made perfect sense with where E and B are right now.  They have a long way to go, but they needed to acknowledge and give in to the physical part of their love as well as the emotional.  My favorite was "But you won't"....."But I won't."  (swoon!)

Okay I started this story yesterday on a reccomendation from Letmesign, and was all but glued to my computer until the wee hours of the morning (stopping briefly to throw chicken nuggets at my kids and send them to bed)  Your story is absolutely beautiful, compelling and intense. I loved the build of their relationship, and although I wanted to throttle you (okay Edward) when he was so cruel to Bella in the woods, I knew that was exactly what he would have done.  I was so proud of Bella that she broke up with Jacob anyways. It was the right thing to do because she knew she had been trying to force something that wasn't there (I've been there and it's hard to choose alone rather than comforting, but incomplete)  The way you've written Bella's mindset and feelings feels very genuine. You are truly a wonderful writer. I put this on my favorites and cannot wait for more!!

Yep,I agree with you,the whole age thing always throws me,theres no way I would have ever dated a younger guy but particularly at high school.I didnt even speak to any boys in my class,I dated guys 2 years ahead of me,I wouldnt even know a single boy from one class ahead of me.
