Actually, the Eddie/Bellie awards is how I found this, and I have to say, I have absolutely fallen in love with it.  I started reading last night and haven't been able to back away except for a few hours of sleep.

I think Bella is well justified in her anger towards Edward & Jacob (I want to give Jacob a taste of that pain... gah... men...).

I'm sorry I hadn't read this before, but I know from now on I will be.  Please keep up the wonderful work.

gah! i love this story so so much. i have to admit, sometimes it does feel like it's moving too slowly but i also appreciate the build up--makes the story more realistic. i hope u update soon. your writing is really good. 

 

PS: can i request for some fluffy goodness in the next chapters? haha. too much angst for me already. :P

I just wanted to say that I spent the entire night (from 10 at night till 6 AM) reading your story. I’m stiff all over since I hardly moved the entire time, it just couldn’t tear my eyes away from the screen. It was amazing, dare I say, better than the book. The characters are so much more rounded, and I love the way you made Bella and Edwards bond and really get to know each other by taking your time before she found out about him being a vampire, they had/have much more of an equal relationship than in the books. Although the fact that Bella’s been so oblivious Edwards true feelings throughout the last chapters (that’s something that annoyed me in the books as well though, I mean how blind can a girl be!?) I realise it’s necessary for the storyline and I accept it much better now because I know she actually fell in love with him as a person, and therefore her feelings are somehow more justified. I love that Bella is older (and hopefully, a little wiser) and that she had a real relationship before falling for Edward, and I loved Jacob in the first half of the story. In fact I still feel for him now, he’s a genuinely good person, but still only 16 and crazy in love. Although I must say, it was kind of strange that during Bella’s ‘zombie months’, she hardly mentioned Jacob… I know she wasn’t in love with him, but she spent so much time with him and did love him in a certain way, so you’d think she’d miss him and his company, instead of only being able to think about Edward. It would just feel more logical if she had also pined for the loss of her best friend a few times in between all her mourning for Edward’s unrequited love. Also, I find it really hard to swallow that Edward would have stayed at school, watching Bella deteriorate like that, without talking to her once. It seems so unlike Edward, how could he stand watching her, the only person he loves, hurt so badly, even if he thought she would survive and it was ‘better this way’ (conceited much)… In New Moon he had no idea she was suffering like that, but now he saw it every day and didn’t try to help her even once… I find that hard to swallow. So I hope he really comes to realise how wrong/evil he has treated her and does everything to at least earn a little of her trust back. In the books, his controlling ‘I know what’s best for Bella even if she doesn’t agree’ behaviour also got on my nerves so I hope he will learn from this huge mistake he has made and try to tone that part of his personality down a little, haha.

But, those are my only points of ‘criticism’, I loved (in a crazy, unhealthy way, much like Edward and Bella’s love!) the rest of this story to bits :)

And just so you know, I’m not a 15-year old fangirl, I’m a 22 year old university student from Holland.

I also really appreciate your spelling/grammar/punctuation skills, even though I only read one other fan fiction (In the blink of an eye) I know they are notorious for being badly written. But like I said, I truly believe your writing is better than the original book, story and style-wise. I honestly thought you were some kind of journalist/creative writer until I read your profile this morning, haha. I could never be able to write like that, have the scenes and dialog flow in such an organic matter, never mind being able to think of an interesting story to tell! I’m really curious as to what happens next. How much time is there usually in between chapters? I’m sorry if  I sound impatient, but after reading the whole story in one go and having it end at such a crucial point… Well, it kind of feels like eating the best cake ever and suddenly having someone steal it away from you, saying ‘you’ll just have to wait before you can eat the rest, but there’s no telling how long...’ Excruciating, haha!

You reviewed this a month ago, but I just wanted to tell you (belatedly) that I really loved your review.  Your point about Edward is a great one--him staying or going after the confrontation in forest was something I really struggled with.  In the end, I decided he and Bella had never had a relationship and he understood even less than he did in the books regarding how she felt about him.  Thus, he stayed because he was so arrogant that he believed a human could never feel so strongly about someone she knew nothing about that his presence wouldn't affect her.

Okay, so I just read the last 4 chapters you have up so far. Awesome! Twilighted went down, so, in my newly found obsession with this story, I went over to fanfiction to read the 4 chapters!

I kind of like how you had Jacob go all 'wolfy' on her. I mean, in SM's, it was like he turned, and a few weeks later, he could basically control everything. It sucks that Bella got the bad end of it, but at least Jacob's not perfect.

Things have been depressing for a while, but I think it'll (hopefully) make the good things better when they finally come around. Edward will break her down, I mean, come on, they're meant to be together!

I hope you update soon. I can't wait to read more! Thanks for keeping me occupied on my day off! :)

Oh, lots of drama! I enjoyed how Jacob was quick to yell at Bella for what she said about his father, but forgot that Billy called her naive and selfish and was hinting at other things in reguards to her character and judgement!

Funny you have her believing that he was dating Rosalie, his sister...when I first met my husband, he was always with this girl, I asked one of our friends how long they'd been together, and she laughed at me & told me that was his sister!

i keep checking on this story and desperately hoping there is an update.  oh please please...soon?  i'm dying here.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE it.  i think it's better than the real Twilight (sorry SM :( ), because it's written in adult language, not for YA.  the passion and complexity of the characters' feelings are beyond what YA books can offer, i think.  and i love the messy triangle that JxBxE present.

when Edward has Jacob by the throat on the car roof...OMG.  and when he says to him, "i gave up everything so she could be safe"--i don't know if i breathed during that entire scene.  

and when they are at the park and he's slowly and painstakingly telling her how he loves her and she's so angry, so hurt...i think i stopped breathing then, too.
