I'm not sure why you thought we'd hate this chapter so much. I love it actually.I love how Bella fought for Edward and how confident she was in her feelings for him. She asserted herself and thats not something I would have ever seen her do in SM's version which always bothered the shit out me! I like this Bella, she isnt quite as breakable (mentally of course) I think she's more of a clutz in your story :) I like how she took control and took the risk to confess everything to him. I realize the reaction Edward has was the only one possible. But we all know Edward well enough to know he'll come around ;)

Oh, before I forgot, I wanted to add how much I loved the preface.  It was so beautiful.

And glorious job to date.  Can't wait to read the rest!

Love this to pieces thus far.  I like how you made Leah a happy person.  Sort of gives new weight to her "I wasn't born a heartless shrew" line in BD.  And I like seeing Jake and Bella get a tiny chance (so not team Jacob, but I always thought it'd have been nice if he could have gotten a go with Bella, that way Edward would be all the more yummy).

Just like I knew I was in love with him.

OMG ITS ABOUT FUCKING TIME

I was about to have an aneurysm over here waiting for her to realize it!

I know its important to the plot to make it slow so it's not your fault, its the way its supposed to be, however it doesnt change the fact that I'm doing a dance like I just scored a touchdown :)

So how does one begin to praise something so extraordinary? I had cold hands (feet?! )when I thought about reviewing this story two times before I decided not to commit the sin of the milenium;-) . I know this could be the longest review in the history of reviews but , hell, you made me write this:

I am absolutely stunned about the beauty fanfiction can reach when it does written by a mind like yours. I have read fanfiction which mutilated characters so badly that I yawned over Edward's name. And in the beginning, I was scared that yours would end up the same way as the plot progresses(forgive my scepticism).Thank you for proving me wrong! You make my heart flip everytime a word starts with a capital 'E' ! (pathetic, yeah!)

To go into the details, your easy flowing language, the amazing wit with which you wrote Edward and Bella, and later, the angst you wrote so well that it wrenched my heart, was unbelievable.I read your story in one sitting and I've never been so hooked to the net in my life! Back to the point... the way you made them go along without an iota of friction redefines the cliche 'two halves of the whole'. And through the 32 chapters, you never deviated so much as a centre from the true-to chracter quality.I always longed for the adorably sarcastic and witty Edward we saw so little of in Twilight and Eclipse. You fulfilled that wish, among a million others. And ofcourse, everytime you make Edward smile or smirk, it radiates right out of my screen and I swear, it will be the death of me!

Your writing seems professional for more than the above-said reason, though. I think you mentioned that you aren't a Jacob fan( and I share your sentiments) but despite that, for you to write him so effortlessly, to not show him in a downright bad light  and to write those(excruciating) romantic scenes with him and Bella in the beginning, it's marvelous. It's not at all evident and if you hadn't written so in your note, I think I would never even have guessed it- that speaks volumes of how well you put aside your opinion for the sake of the story.

Towards the beginning , you apologized for the slow pace. If the apology still stands,I want to tell you that I don't mind at all. When you have a story such as this to tell, and you season it with astonishingly perfect amounts of fluff, sarcasm, wit, humor and angst,  well, let's just say I wish there are a hundred more chapters to come.

This is undoubtedly the best fanfiction I've read so far, and I have read some pretty good ones. I haven't felt such a pull towards a story since I read Twilight. I haven't felt the need to re-read the chapters and memorize till I memorize every line since then , but I do now. That's probably what I'll do when you've completed this story*sob* and the E-POV is in the progress (please tell me you haven't given up on that idea!)

I just hope Bella forgives Edward and herself and can be happy like she used to be (though, as i said, take your time- I'm drinking down every word you type :) ) And ofcourse, you have added one more crazy fan to your jaw-dropping list who will jump for joy when the next update arrives. I'll sign off now, before i exhaust the adjectives in my vocabulary praising this story.

Update ASAP!

I only started reading this story yesterday...and now I have finished what you have posted...I CANT WAIT for more!

This is the best story I have read so far on Twilighted!!! You writing is awesome and I LOVE the whole thing. I shouldn't have started reading it until it was finished...but I couldn't stop...now I need more..:)

All the angst and darkness you keep apologising for...you don't need to. It is just part of it all...although, I can say that I can't wait for both Bella and Edward to just give in to their feelings...

Ok, awesome stuff! Looking forward to the next chapter...

Whoa, i think I've spent about 9 hours in the past two days engrossed in the world you've created. I can't wait for more.

ooooh, it is getting so exciting!! I keep telling myself, just read one chapter..then I've got to do stuff around the house...but I can never stop at just one more chapter!

Awesome story. I really LOVED this chapter!

Reviewer: SapphireEyes (Signed) · Date: May 11, 2009 03:04 PM · On: Hypocrisy

I have really enjoyed this story so far (as I have stated numerous times in the last two days as I read it).  The set-ups and events are just so imaginative, and the characters are all dead-on.  I love it.  And the angst has been fun, but I have to admit that I'm ready for some healing, for both of them .  I hope it comes soon.  (I tend to get way emotionally involved in stories I read, so all the angst and pain have made me walk around all achy and funk-like.  I'm ready for relief for myself as much as I am for E and B.  :))

I don't usually review, but this chapter was extremely well-written! I just recently found this story and have fallen in love with it. You do a great job of stirring up the emotions of all the characters.

  1. OMG I love tHat you had them read the lines. it feels as though its something they should have done along. how clever!

Reviewer: pillowbiter (Signed) · Date: May 11, 2009 09:17 AM · On: Preface & Chapter 1: Sixteen

I was a little hesitant at first to read this for two reasons:

I don't want Jacob with Bella- EVER

and I was worried that I'd get really into it and then you wouldnt finish it cause it looks like its been a long time since you've updated.

but the story still seemed interesting enough so here I am reading it. So far no regrets :)

Brilliant chapter.  Loved it totally.  The lunch scene was so much fun, and your introduction of Alice's visions was really creative.

I have to work in the morning.  My bedtime came and went half an hour ago.

I can't stop reading!  This is great!  Very engaging.

This story is so much fun.  So. Much. Fun.

I can't think of anything more intelligent to say, so I'm just going on to the next chapter. :)

In the end notes, you keep apologizing for the slow build of the story, but I'm really loving it.  It takes quite a bit of setup and circumstance for a reader to get situated into a story, especially when there are major plot events looming.  You've done a great job so far.

Reviewer: S Blue (Anonymous) · Date: May 10, 2009 05:31 PM · On: Preface & Chapter 1: Sixteen

Just finished reading the prologue and had to tell you...WOW! I love everything you took from those few simple sentences Jacob spoke in Eclipse. Your prologue is genious.  I totally overlooked the extra meanings behing Jacob's declaration that their lives would be effortless together. Comfortable. While I do enjoy the comfort I have found in my marriage, I also appreciate the struggles. They ignite a stronger love, help us grow together as individuals and as a couple. I am so looking forward to reading the rest of your story, just because of your well-thought-out and well-worded Prologue.

It's so nice to have something to look forward to. :)
