You updated! *parade marches down the street* I was so excited when I saw that you updated and I'm so happy that the next chapter will be up tomorrow. This chapter did not disappoint.

I hate Jacob so much right now it's not even funny.  The guy has no right to keep bothering Bella like this.  I don't care if he is trying to say he's sorry or whatever.  I honestly wish Edward gets an opportunity to hurt him.  Badly.  And while Bella doesn't believe Edward failed her with her getting so horribly hurt by Jacob, I can't help but feel that yes he did fail her in part.  And I would not be opposed to hear more about how he suffered for his mistakes, because honestly he deserves the hurt too.  One word: atonement.

The talks between Alice and Bella were nice.  It surprises me a little bit though how Bella trusts Alice, mainly because if I were her and I still had doubts on which Edward was the true one, that logic would make me question whether I were seeing Alice's true nature also.  What if it's a vampire thing, is what I'd wonder to myself.

I am really looking forward to the WTF moment.  Don't know why.

I honestly don't know what to think of Edward's steps toward trying to show Bella he truly loves her.  It's hard, not knowing what Edward is thinking and feeling during all this.  As a reader it makes it more difficult to empathize or sympathize with him seeing his actions through the Bella filter.  It's too easy to rail and scream about how stupid he is.  I imagine your other readers are all chomping at the bit at the hope for the big reconciliation between Bella and Edward.  Me, not so much.  I haven't been on the forum (it moves way too quickly and its too scary for me), so I may be wrong on that.  Just, knowing readers, I imagine a lot of them are saying how they can't wait for Bella to give into her love, stop being stubborn, and throw herself into Edward's arms, blah blah blah.  Not so for me.  I completely sympathize with the situation Bella has found herself in.  The heart may want what it wants, but the head is definitely not on board.  If the situation were that she had found herself in love with a human who was a reformed serial murderer (who also lied and tore her heart out figuratively speaking), people wouldn't be so eager for Bella to listen to her heart, right?  It's not so different here, the situation.  I think people tend to gloss over all the shocks that Bella has had lately, too.  She feels she's horribly disfigured and I bet people tend to ignore that.  People wouldn't ignore her feelings on that if she had had, say, a double mastectomy, would they?  Yet the feelings of disfigurement and self-loathing are still there.  Anyway, at this point I'm rambling like I've had a fifth of vodka for lunch.  Shutting up now.

Thanks for the new chapter(s).  I'll be checking my inbox constantly for the next one.  I really like your progression with Bella's feelings toward Edward--and his actions in dealing with Bella too.

I'm starting to review again because I've decided I'm not going to be using the forums anymore.  I'll leave a more complete review after the next chapter comes up.

It broke my heart when Edward tried to tell Bella that she's the only girl he's ever loved. He's trying so hard to break through and make her understand, but I can't blame her for shutting him down. It's necessary for her emotional survival right now, and at least he's aware enough of that to stop when she asked him to.

I'm hoping the letter is the catalyst that forces Bella to deal with what Jake did to her. Obviously, her nightmares indicate that she has yet to face what happened to her. Granted, it hasn't been that long, but she can't move on with her life until she deals with it. Maybe after she deals with Jake, she can deal with Edward.

"I thought of my upcoming detention and realized that his familiar, luscious scent would wash over me again before the day was through. That idea warmed me, and I struggled to right that mistake."

Poor Bella is trying so hard to shut out her heart and only listen to her head. I want to strangle Edward for making her go through this, but it looks like she fighting a losing battle.

Thank you for Alice. It's a relief that she hasn't asked Bella to go shopping. AT ALL. Alice's tend to annoy me, but I really like her here. She's trying to be a good friend and be loyal to Edward in some way, which I'm sure is not easy for her. But I guess she already "knows" the future, so she has a leg up on all of us.

I'm sorry that I couldn't wait. I just love IVO too much and I have all of the impulse control of a 3 year old.

Soooooo happy and excited for an update!  And it was great!  Can't wait for ch 34.  What does Jakes letter say?  I hate him. 

I've really been enjoying your story- in fact, I've become addicted (which is also a very convenient reason for me to put off studying for exams...)! It's nice to read fan fiction that has been properly proof read (ie. no stupid, misspelt words that sort of sound like the word they're supposed to be!) and that has a well planned story line :) Keep it up!
