I gotta admit, 69 has never been a favorite of mine. I'm just too darn short for it to be anything but slightly awkward, no matter what. But you have to at least try it, right? I'm glad to see Bella being friends still with Tanya. For some reason I like their dynamic.

Seriously, that had to be one of the most honest and intimate sentiments I've ever seen expressed in writing. Just beautiful...what a way to show not only that Edward sees his future with Bella, but exactly what he wants that future to be...what he wants out of love and marriage. GORGEOUS.
Loved Bella's reaction to their "shared" pleasuring...I don't know how I feel about it either. Maybe I'm just too easily distracted.... ;)
And you really ended it there, didn't you? Can't wait for the next update!

Hi, MsKathy! I loved this chapter! She's so... Bella... in her need to not be a burden to anyone. I'm glad that Edward called her on her behavior and that Jasper helped her understand it. Anyone else trying to explain that would have added a whole other dimension of guilt and defensiveness.
Jake refusing to kiss her after she swallowed made me snort out loud. First, I've always laughed at the whole canonesque Jake/dog thing because I have secretly wondered about that old joke regarding dogs being able to lick their own balls - do you think the wolfpack can do that? - and then since he ends up going for the express delivery of come to his own mouth, is it just his OWN come he finds repulsive (which takes me back to the whole "if I could lick my own balls I'd never leave the house" joke). Oh, MsKathy, my brain is a scary place. Because outside of the whole Jake aspect, that attitude from a guy really pisses me off... like, dude, where exactly has that thing been that you expected ME to swallow but now you don't want it anywhere near you. You know that shit came outta you, right? Sorry, rant over.
So glad that Scone Boy figured out what SB was... that was really funny! Of course, when I saw they were going to Aspen, I immediately secured guest status at MJ's, so I can meet them in person. Very excited about that!
Finally, the exploration was very sweet. I know I've mentioned this before (the "googling cowgirl" thing) but you manage to convey such a sweet and believable innocence in your Bella. It's refreshing.

Thanks for the review! I think in a lot of ways, he understands why she did what she did, and also, he never bothered to ask her in-depth about her plans, so he's beating himself up a little for that, too.

Amazing...I loved the conversation. I think it did show maturity on Bella's part to own up to her mistakes. Knowing that Edward has experienced profound loss of his own, this would have been a perfect opportunity for them to help each other through pain. But Bella is still only an 18 year old girl, who can act both selfishly and selflessly at the same time.
Great update...looking forward to the next!

I actually did a little fistpump when I saw that you had updated! And it was certainly worth the wait...
Bella continues to impress me with her maturity. It is so refreshing to read about a Bella who isn't whining and having to be told every other second how desirable she is. Your Bella has confidence, and only continues to grow. I really like that.
Edward is far from perfect, but instead he's so REAL, and I enjoy that much more than the usual perfection that we see.
So excited to see their continuing journey...

Oh, happy day! So glad you're back to this story. Honestly, I don't know how you have time (or creativity) for all that you do, but I waited patiently for this story to assume it's place at the front of the line. As you know from my drunken tweet, this was my very first fanfic ever. I am one of the weird ones... started on Twi'd (not FFn), and found this story. It reminds me of college, and of that time in my life where I was trying to figure myself out and find my place in the world. Of course, I still haven't done that, but 25+ years has made me realize that I don't have to.
I love this chapter... First off, I have a tremendous fear of techno-schmexin' so I'm always happy when I see others endeavor and succeed. And of course the cock-blocked-techno-lemon was even more entertaining. I am really happy to see them considering a future including each other. I have to admit, I gasped when Edward asked about kids. Yowza! But as a med student, he's definitely doing more "big boy stuff" than Bella. She's in an easier place academically right now, but it's really a peek under the tent for her to deal with him being gone or distracted a lot of the time.
Thank you for letting them have bad days. Too often, Edward is too one-dimensional - broody and morose or just the consummate gentleman, but your Edward is loving and caring, but has bad days and gets snippy, or moody, and then he recovers and realizes he's been in a funk. In other words, real. And she does a great job of noticing when he's not himself, and being normal in wondering why and if she's part of the problem. I'm a huge fan of "real". It's probably the only standard I have for reading. If it doesn't feel real, I can't read it. (well, in AU-Human or RPF world... I'm good with crazy vampire shit, you know?)
I love that she had to Google "cowgirl" - that was extremely funny! And she bought him his first lab coat? Very sweet. Maybe now they can play doctor. *wink wink* Of course, how excited are they for the follow-up test month! Can't wait to read your next update.
Remember to update your bio and the header for the story to take it off hiatus. You may have... I was so excited to get to the story that I went through the Updated link and haven't seen it on my Faves list yet. Hooray for updating on Twi'd.

I started this knowing full well that you had it on hold, but the premise was too interesting to ignore. I read it in one sitting, and am absolutely in love with these characters. What an incredible journey! Bella is a revelation in this, everything that I wish canon Bella would've been. Watching her handle life and being open to so many new experiences is just fabulous. What a strong girl...thanks for giving us a strong Bella! And Edward, well, is EDWARD. Just perfection! I know you've got lots going on, but I will be looking forward to when this is back on your radar. No pressure - I love it enough to wait! Thanks for sharing such a beautiful story!

I love how you are writing Bella. I love that she is not the shy, helpless Bella and that she is taking control of her life. I find it amusing that she has three dates with three different people in the same weekend but she is still young and trying to find herself and what better way to do that.....
