His eyes flicked from the pot to mine and then back as my hands continued on their path.  When I reached his waist, I uncrossed my legs and climbed into his lap.  I adjusted myself and wrapped my legs around him, pulling myself a little closer. 

“You're gonna share, right?” I raised an eyebrow.

So I see that Bella wasn't able to refuse Edward in the morning.  I don't blame her, who could after a wonderful/terrible first date like that.  Too bad they were interrupted.  But, as I've said before, anticipation makes that first time all the better.  And boy did Edward really make up for the disaster with this second date.  It was intense but I don't think they can hold off on what's been building between them much longer anyway.

Can't wait to see what they do with their dessert!!

Very romantic night - a bit much for the second date, bu they've known each other a while and were moving that way quickly. I'm with Alice - swoon for the romantic gesture from a man. I'm glad they handled the awkward protection issue so well with no freak outs. As much as they (approximately) the same age, Edward shows her how to be an adult sometimes - normal dating, how to react, maturity.
