Wonderful story, best I've read, made me laugh and cry at places! Great plot, lots of excitment. Wonderful romance and love! Sorry to see it end, but it seems like a good happily every after place to end it.
Hope you write some more. You are a very good writer.

i don't know how to start this. first and foremost i suppose, i'll start by saying that i am deeply saddened that this is the final chapter; the end of blood lines. i will savour edward's epilogue when it comes.
there are so many things this chapter had that i loved; i loved bella being able to remember everything from her human life; i loved the lego competitions and the three boys fighting over who wins; i loved the tender family moments, not just with Edward, Bella and Abbey, but with the entire Cullen clan. edward is such a funny daddy; hes so good at it and he embraces it, that much i can see clearly from everything he does, bella too. the mood of the chapter was fantastic; it felt like the beginning of the end of the rest of their lives. perfect. the love scene was something else (yet very tasteful)! poetic, tender and romantic but feral also, and wild. vampiric. i thought edward's last human memory was very interesting; i just thought i would put that in there. i liked it!
i guess i shall leave it there and you will hear more when you update with the epilogue-which i can't wait for.
it has been an absolute pleasure to read this story. one final chapter makes me very sad indeed, but all great things come to an end i suppose!

Best birth scene ever!! And please, believe me, I've read a LOT of Twilight stories!! It's so much more perfect with just the two of them! I always thought it was too...crownded in BD!!
I love your story, that I just discovered today, your writing and your sensitivity! Continue!!

Lovely, just lovely. This is a good place to end even though you could really go on forever. I'm glad we'll get a little more future in the epilogue as well as Edward's point of view, but I really enjoyed this story being entirely from Bella's. Thanks for wonderful writing and keeping me glued to my computer. :-) Much love!

Nooooo....i hate to see this story end....this was my absolute favorite story on this site.
This chapter was fantastic, just like every chapter before.
This story has been simply amazing, I finally got what I wanted out of BD, seeing Edward as daddy....you have done it GREAT justice....
Bravo - Can't wait for the epi....

So i very, very rarely review. but i just thought I'd share this fact about myself with you. My name really is Abbye Elizabeth (its Abbye not Abigail, my mother hates nicknames) when I read that you had named her that i couldn't believe it. your story is fantastic and addicting. i understand how much writing takes out of a person and how many hours it takes, and so i want to say thank you for putting forth this much energy. your story is awesome.
Author's Response: Wow, you're name's Abbye Elizabeth - it's such a pretty name, isn't it? I'm glad you're enjoying the story, thanks for coming on and letting me know :)

This was one of the most beautiful stories I have read here. and I love the way you ended (the lion and the lamb)... thank you for a beautiful story!
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked the lion and the lamb ending (it had been in my head for quite a while now, I knew a long time ago that's how I wanted it to end) so thanks for letting me know :)

This is too wonderful…too divine…too beautiful for words. I simply cannot find the right ones to convey my love for this story. I don’t think my meager words have ever done it justice. I’ve loved it from it’s inception, have loved it all the way through, and love it still.
I have long dreaded this chapter, this you know well, for I never wanted it to end. But, alas, even the greatest of things must come to an end. And, regrettably, so has BLOOD LINES.
But what an end! What a finale! What a glorious forever you have given B&E, and by extension, us as well.
I positively loved the tender moments between Bella, Edward, and their Abby. You painted a loving portrait of a happy family with them, and that, my dear, is no easy feat to accomplish, much less exult!
The love scene in the meadow was perfect. PERFECT. It was neither vulgar nor graphic. Instead, it was romantic, passionate, and all consuming. As it should’ve always been. And for I thank you….again.
And please allow me to say this: it is in this FINAL complete chapter that you managed to write what I consider to be one, if not THE most shocking and jolting revelation I have EVER encountered (canon & off canon) in respect to B&E and their love: “Remember? The first day we came here. You said the lion fell in love with the lamb. I guess I'm not a lamb anymore, am I?""You never were, Bella." His hands stroked over my skin, satin over silk. "You were always the lion. I was the lamb." – NEVER ONCE, IN ALL OF MY CANON & OFF-CANON READINGS HAVE I EVER CONSIDERED THAT. To say that I was knocked off my feet is a gross understatement. Good Lord, woman….that floored me. How had I never thought of that? Amazing.
I am looking forward to Edward’s epilogue in a way that I have NEVER done so with another story. Curiously enough, BLOOD LINES is, if one really thinks about it, about Edward and the events that transpired in his life that have since affected Bella’s and their future together. George ‘happened’ to him. His immortal life is what was railroaded with the shocking revelation of a son he never knew he fathered. It was his past that would now dictate, as always, the course of his and Bella’s relationship. While, yes, Bella’s unconditional love is the source and fuel of their endurance, and it is her acceptance and adoration for all that Edward was, is, and will be, that serves as the foundation of their forever, it is EDWARD whose reality has been jolted the most with the existence of a son, the love he shares with a human girl, and the blessing of a half-human/half-vampire daughter. And it is because of this that your pending epilogue in Edward’s pov will prove to be the culmination of his sorrow, his mirth, his revelry, and his utter happiness.
To the point, I CANNOT WAIT TO FINALLY READ HIS POV. I’ve been craving it since day one, and to know that it is so near now….sigh….God help me.
Btw, is it too much to hope that your outtakes will be EPOVs as well? We’ve had so many of Bella’s, that I just don’t think an epilogue in Edward’s pov is going to quench our thirst for him. Edward MUST have so much to say. Hand him the mike, Love. Our beloved vampire’s earned the floor.
Godspeed.
Author's Response: What can I say? Thank you doesn't seem enough for the tremendous support and encouragement you have given this story. Each review, each email, have meant so much. The continuation beyond chapter 12 was due to your encouragement, the baby shower came about from your suggestion, so thank you for your part in this journey.
The outtakes are already written and there are two. The first one is from Bella's point of view as it has been lifted straight out of a chapter and I'm not sure it would work from Edward's perspective. But in the second outtake, which is much longer, almost chapter length, Edward will certainly have the floor - it will be all him, and it's fluffy and funny (I hope) but with buckets of drama, too.
To give a few clues, the first outtake takes us way back to Chicago, to when they meet Rebecca and George. The second revolves around a visit from Renee. She's organised a weekend away at a spa resort for her and Bella as a gift. Bella is quite pregnant and Edward has to deal with the fact that Bella will be away from him overnight, in Renee's care, being massaged by Sven, the male masseur who specialises in pregnancy massage - Renee's booked him specially. And then there's a mix up with Renee's flights and a mad rush to the airport and due to another mix up Bella is left stranded and Edward doesn't know where she is ..... it goes on. Maybe I could switch perspectives through the story, because there are bits and pieces from both sides that I'd like to show. I should probably get onto it now!
With many thanks ...

I always waited with baited breath for your updates and your Edward is by far and away one of my all-time favorites! I can't wait to read the epilogue!

I loved it. I love the way you brought it around to the original story line (I was wondering...) and especially the excellent characters Bella and Edward are as parents.
The long well thought out chapters lasted for days - way excellent.
Even with minimal "screen time" from the other Cullens you had them pegged in such a wonderful way (Team Jasper says TWO thumbs up!)
I will be watching for anything else you want to write!!
Thank you for such a wonderful story.
Chris.

I read this whole thing before bed last night, but I didn't even know where to start with my review, so I told myself I'd sleep on it...well, it's the evening and I still don't know how to put in to wordmy excitement and profound love for this final chapter - everything I think of seems to fall short of how I'm feeling. So I guess I'm just going to have to say that I absolutely LOVED it, and your writing has, once again, blown me away, and hope that is enough, lol.
Seriously, you have this sort of subtlety to your writing that just works brilliantly. For example, I helped suggest the little bit of foreshadowing with Edward at his computer, but you snuck it in there so steathily that I didn't even recognize it for what it was until the very end of the chapter, lol!!! I think it's partly down to that understated quality of your writing that has seriously turned this into one of my favorite fanfics, past and present (well that, and your awesome plot and dedication to detail and...yeah, a whole lot of things!).
I simply can't wait for the epilogue! Even having some idea of what you're planning, as I found with this chapter there is nothing compared to reading the real thing. Of course that will bring this magnificent story to an end, which is somewhat unfortunate, but this story just *feels* like it's ending in the right spot (which, again, is all down to your talented writing), so I can't be too upset in that regard.
I'm just so happy I've been a part of the development of this story, no matter how small a part that is or how late in the game I showed up, lol. And once again, if I can help out in any way, just give me a shout and I'll give it my best ;-)

Wow, this story is one of the best Twi fanfics I've read. It was beautiful, dramatic, suspensful. I am going to miss this one a lot, but I'll always have it in my favorites.
Can't wait for the epilogue.

I am so sad it is over!! : ( There is something so sweet and loving about your Edward and Bella... so gentle. I love the relationship you have built for them. I love all of the details you have placed in your story. They are what help to make it special and unique even more so than the plot line. Thank you so much for writing.
Do you plan to write a sequal? Jump into their future?
And if not do you plan to write another story? If so, it will be a definite read in my book.
Once again, I want to say how much I have enjoyed your story!
