That was one of the sweetest chapters i've ever read.  I could amost be in the room while the conversation was taking place.

AWESOME I LOVE DRAMA!!!!! and excelent chapter you stayed true to Edwards character and I liked George. Did he call him dad at all in the conversation in his head?

Wonderful!!!  So glad he told George, and the scene was written beautifully. 

Now, the day in the meadow...I think it's time for them to go ahead and make love.  They're engaged, and I think they both feel the need to affirm both their love and their commitment.

Waiting to see Edward set up the trust...and I'm assuming in the near future, he's going to have to deal with George's death.  With Bella by his side, he'll get thru that, too.

That was wonderful!  You gave Edward and his son the best possible closure under the circumstances and moved Edward and Bella's relationship forward too!  If only you could write a few chapters in my life!

So I'm going to ask the million dollar question that I'm sure you're getting asked a lot - since the story is already AU, are you going to keep going and let Edward cave and get more intimate with Bella?  Or are you going to make them wait until the wedding?  ;)

Another great chapter - I loved the discussion between George and Edward - very believable.  Though it was interesting how Bella went emo on us this time vs. Edward - that's usually not the case!

Can't wait for the next chapter!  The meadow....oh yeah.....

This was beautiful.  I could feel the longing, the need, the adoration in his voice. 

I love this story so very much.  You really tapped into something when he Edward said that he felt those bad feelings from his human life and applied them to his fears of intimacy.  It was brilliant.  I DO hope you continue this story through their wedding night, at least.  These character are so beautifully written, I don't want to let them go.  It is entralling.  I am truly captivated by this story, and your writing.  It is magical.

this has been one of the best stories i have read!  it has really been a joy to read this.  i think that you have really captured edward and bella so well, and then matured them throughout this whole ordeal.  i love it!  great story!

My computer just ate the well written four long paragraph review I wrote, so I'll have to settle for saying that I love this story, love the detail and love you can feel coming from it and am on the edge of my seat waiting for more drama.  (Can I guess that it will be coming from the perhaps dead brother?)

Also, are you British?  (Torch and jumper are very UK terms, not North American.. just a guess!)

Thanks very much.  No, not British - Australian.  We speak a lot of the same language!

I know I should just be happy and let this go, but honestly I guess this just proves I'm not as good a person as Bella.  It still just boggles me how accepting she is of the situation.  I mean rationally and logically I now completely understand and forgive (not that there's really a need for forgiveness) Edward.  Things were not in his control, after all.  But emotionally, that's what I have a hard time with.  I just don't think I could have emotionally supported Edward as much as Bella has done in this situation simply because I don't know if I could have let go of the pain so easily.  It kind of humbles me a little. 

I loved the talk between father and son.  That was lovely and went so well.  Of course I'm curious as to what caused that moment of pain with Edward, I'm guessing it has something to do with Bella and her change? 

The epiphany that Edward has really makes so much sense and meshes so well with the canon Edward.  Seriously, you did a really excellent job with that.

What a lovely piece of writing.  I feel like the characterization is within the spirit of the book, and particularly enjoy the cooperative and open emotive quality of Edward and Bella's relationship.  I am waiting for the next chapters with bated breath.  Darn it, this is why I don't read unfinished fics!  I can't stand the suspense!  --LM
