OMG, it took me like an hour to read this chapter, but it was sooooooooooooooooooooo worth it!  This has got to be, hands down, one of the best stories on this site!

Holy crap! You definitely described the labor process pretty accurately. That is exactly how I remember the birth of my daughter being (minus the father being the one to deliver part). The course of emotions is right on.

I'm glad you liked that Edward delivered and they were by themselves.  I toyed briefly with the idea of having her go into labour in a public place, without Edward, and the ambulance was called and she was taken to the nearest hospital and Edward would rush in and then the baby would be delivered by hospital staff while Edward hovered nervously and protectively.  But then I changed my mind.  Thanks for your review :)

Wow. I can't wait for the next chapter. Can Edward hear the babies thoughts? I'm glad that Bella seems to have had a semi-normal child birth. I would like her to be changed at some point but I guess its something they can discuss later. I really can't wait for some adorable B/E and baby bonding. The real family time we never got in BD.

So I really, really, really am this much of a loser that I  remember that the last time you updated was Canada Day, which was 11 days ago, and I am PRAYING that it won't take you this long to update again :-D

 

I'm sorry I've been a lazy reader, you REALLY are an amazing, talented writer. I honestly have dropped whatever it is I am doing to read the chapters you update (and this has included 'going to the washroom' when at work, rearranging my notes while in class so my professor can't see my BB in front of me, pretending to sleep if late at night or early in the morning...you name it, I've done it :-D ). Seriously, when I say drop whatever it is I am doing, I mean it literally. And you know the e-mals that you get when one of your favorite stories gets updated? My Blackberry only keeps e-mails from my inbox, not ones I move to different folders or delete. And the e-mails regarding Bloodlines are the only ones I keep in my inbox, all the other e-mails regarding other stories get deleted once read. Why? Because your story if just so fabulous and amazing that I like to keep that link handy in case I ever feel upset and need something to cheer me up and show me that there are great and happy things in the world :-D

I really, really wish that the original Twilight story and pregnancy had been like yours b/ it is such a magical, amazing period of life in any couple's life and having such a somewhat gory, tragic approach like SM did was kind of disheartening.  Don't get me wrong, I love Twilight and without it your story wouldn't exist, but still....when I started reading your story (it was the chapter that ended when Bella tells Edwards she's pregnant) and it got to that part, when Bella tells him she's pregnant and I saw that note that you put that it wouldn't be like Twilight, I was so HAPPY!!!! Especially because by that time it was clear that you were such an awesome writer so I knew it would be my dream (and I imagine a lot of other people's dream) come true.

Anyway, sorry for the long schpeel but I figured since you said that you really enjoy getting reviews, I'd try and convery the full extent of my appreciation for both you and your story.

Wow, just ... wow.  Really don't know what to say.  Your review honestly just blows me away.  I laughed at you hiding your blackberry behind your notes or taking it with you to the loo at work.  I'm completely flattered that you keep Blood Lines in your in box and read it when you need cheering up - that really means a lot ... a lot :)   I'm glad you like the more gentle pregnancy and birth, it was kind of the way I had hoped things would go in Breaking Dawn.  So, thank you for your long schpeel, I love it!

This is by far my absolute favorite fanfiction i have read so far. I loved this chpater and that Edward got to deliver the baby, the emotion and love you portrayed betweent he two of them was so powerful. One of the things i liked least about BD was that Edward never really seemed happy about having the baby, but this story filled the gap i was missing with the series. I wish this was how it would have played out in the books.

AMASING job and by far the best chapter you have written. Cant wait to see what they name here and everyone reaction to her when they get home.
