I'm really liking this story and the twist of Bella's mind reading you've added to it so far, my only wish is that you'd update faster.
I am wondering how her mind reading works though. It seems she can hear Edward, sot well, but it's still there, and along with that other's thoughts as well that run through his mind. Yet it also seems that she can't hear the rest of the Cullens. Is that correct? If so, is there a reason for that? Obviously it's not because they're vampires, since she can hear snippits from Edward, who is a vampire as well. She's stated that she can't hear Carlisle's thoughts while she was in the hospital, yet she heard him through Edward... apparently she hasn't realized that yet either.
It also seems that Edward is in more control over the scent of Bella's blood. That's a good thing though. He did have that one fleeting thought while in his car driving her to the hospital, but quickly pushed it away. I hope he can continue to do that and not let it get to him.
Well, I think that's it for now, and I really hope the next chapter is coming SOON!

The fact that she can't clearly hear Edward's or Carlisle's thoughts - is that because they're vampires and their train of thoughts work so much faster than humans? Why can she hear Edward's thoughts at all when he can't hear hers? This is fascinating!

I always love EPOV and this was no exception. I really like the fact that Edward is intruiged by Bella because of her eyes and not her blood. What's going to happen now when she wakes up in the hospital?
