you explain the tortuous complexities of her love for both men so well, and the different futures they can offer her with their love - I didn't think it could happen, but Jake sounds like a good option! and I am definitely team Edward. What did happen at the party when they had left? Is Leah?

I've done a lot worse to you and you know it! :) I just wanted to get you interested in the events of the party...not that they're all that important. Aww, I'm going to miss the crazy frequent updates, but that'll just make the next chapter all the more sweeter with anticipation. I can't wait to find out what's going to happen next!
This has been a fantastic story so far, one of the best Jacob/Bella fics there are. It has made me roar with laughter at 2am in the morning, it has made me cry, the sex has been brilliant and the plot even more so. I wish you all the best in continuing the story! Author's Response: Well, you're right, Jacob hasn't used condoms in a while because Bella's been on the pill. Plus, though I'm totally a proponent for "safe sex," I made it a point that Bella be on the pill to avoid having to write in a condom with every lemon. Having said that, we all know that the pill is not 100% effective. I guess that's all I'll really say on that matter. ;)

I asked him what costume Jacob should wear, and that's pretty much what he came up with. And let's face it, Vampires ARE so last year. To be honest, I don't really know how many chapters are left. I have a clear idea of how I want to end it, and what has to happen between now and then, but I'm unclear of how long it will take to get there. I'm kind of apprehensive about ending this story, even though I have a sequel planned. It's been a fun ride and I don't want to get off just yet. ;)
I'm really glad you liked this chapter. It was really fun to write. You'll definitely find out what happened between Leah/Jack in the next chapter.

Librarian! Love it! Oh my, can't wait to read about Jacob's reaction to her costume. Way to go Leah...gotta love that the pack can read each other's minds. She's helping them out big time. Ha.
Okay...back to the beginning of this chapter. Love that Alice is still the best friend that Bella needs right now. Glad they still have that bond and even liking the fact that Alice & Jacob get along. I'm so loving your Jacob and love that he stayed to take care of Bella. So glad they are finally back together and Bella's away from the Cullen house.
And oh my...Jacob in the shower in all his glory. Yum! I was crackin' up how Bella threw up and Jacob had to laugh because it felt like a blow to his ego. So funny...great add to your story.
Their shower together was so sensual...loved it. They do need to take their time to heal from the last 2 weeks and also with Bella not feeling well I'm glad Jacob wasn't just trying to jump her bones.
Charlie...gotta love that he had so many issues with Edward yet just has all kinds of love/support for Jacob. He's family and I can totally see this happening. Why oh why didn't Bella give him a chance in the books...she definitely needed to get away to Florida to think things through unlike how SM wrote it!!!!
Alice keeping Bella's stuff safe...especially her bracelet just made me so happy. Even keeping that one photo safe. I'm glad she still has her Jacob memories.
On the Volvo...Alice cracks me up how she can get Bella to do anything. Jacob & Bella need to de-virginize that car. LOL.
Can't wait for the Halloween Party. I'm sure it'll be filled with some yummy goodness. And shoot...with those new TL pics posted recently...it just further adds to the hotness that is Jacob Black!
As usual...great job! I love your story and the way you are writing Jacob! Update soon!

FYI, Jacob in the shower was inspired by the release of the New Moon still of TayLau in the rain. I just couldn't resist. And I had to make Bella throw up when she saw him because their relationship is based on their friendship first. And, friends laugh together. Something that we didn't see enough of in the books between Bella/Edward.
And yes, Charlie is a little biased towards Jacob. But, in his defense, he has seen terrible things happen to Bella becaue of Edward's existence in her life. If he only knew the half of it!
I've already posted the next chapter, so the Halloween party is complete. It was a lot of fun to write. I think you'll enjoy Jaocb's costume immensely. ;)

You have done such a great job incorporating SM's storyline. Through out the SM's series I was torn between Edward and Jacob. Much like Bella. Thank you for giving Jacob a chance and a leading role!

In answer to your question, I definitely picture my Own, more mature, and much taller Jacob. However, recent publicity photos, movie stills, etc., of Taylor Lautner, have definitely offered inspriation for the story. ;)
